Domestic for me. I have a hard enough time waiting for things to be delivered from the coasts. I can't imagine having to wait for something to come from China, India or Japan.
Assam for me this morning.

Actually, I think there is a possibility that the great Monarch may have been more likely to consume
green tea, especially early on in her 63-year reign. Any knowledgeable historians out there today?
A Norwegian and a Swede talking to each other in the IM at the moment. I love TeaChat!

For japanese greens, I buy only from Japan based vendors.
For other ones, domestic and international vendors.
This morning keemun and I will have to wait 8pm to go back home and have another tea.

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I had never heard of Dan Cong, but I'm still a newbie so I guess it's not so bad. I am really intrigued by the idea of a tea that mimics the aroma of a particular flower.
Why I love TeaChat--learn something new every day.
Drinking Yunnan Jig.

I mostly buy from domestic vendors. That's the whole point of NYC. Everything is at your doorstep.
In my cup this morning, yuck! I badly oversteeped my genmaicha...because I was reading TeaChat and lost track of time.
Off to the pantry to pour it out and start over.
Brewing joy, happiness and green tea, like any good TeaWitch should!

I said international, because I counted Ito En as international, and most of my stuff comes from Japan anyway.
This morning's tea: 1 bowl of Banreko no Mukashi matcha, and 2 bowls of Organic Kaoru Matcha.
And of course, Fukamushi Supreme iced tea for work. I should say, it's really room-temperature rather than iced by the time I drink it, but that's even better, allows the flavor to sing...

Oh thanks

It's Ti Kuan Yin in my new favourite cup. I would insert a bigger picture if I had an URL to it.

I've bought strictly domestic too. It's not so much a concious choice, it's simply more cost effective and timely. My local tea shop had her own private label indian teas that were to die for...but then she had to go and move to the opposite coast

Drinking a "last scoop in the container" blend of Adagio's Green Orange Pekoe and their Citron Green.
Nothing to do with Queen Victoria, except that she might have been the type who liked a good spring clean.

He is quite frighteningly good, isn't he.
Salsero, you may have to throw us a mediocre photo* or two, so that we don't begin taking you for granted!
_________
*But is Sal capable of taking a mediocre photo? Zif!

Mostly domestic since I mostly buy from Adagio. But, I have bought from Den's a couple of times now. I just ordered one of the $19 Kokoro pots. I can't wait to get it. Although, it is smaller than I am used to so I am going to have to change my brewing habits at work. I just measured my pot at home. It is 40 ounces!

I had no idea it was so huge. I have a feeling it is soon going to be relegated to iced tea only and I will have to get another Kokoro for home since this one is going to be used at work.
My cup is empty right now, but it did have Stash Pomegranate in it earlier.
Teas for trade:

Happy
Victoria Day, everybody!
Incidentally, Queen Victoria was quite the hot babe when she was young...
...And also a bit of a party girl.
