I actually had a sort of semantics debate with myself this morning over the question!
Although considering the debate happened B.C. (before caffiene), it wasn't particularly groundbreaking.
Is tea the plant or the drink? I finally opted for the drink.
Is the vessel for tea specifically or any vessel in which tea COULD be made? I finally opten, considering the position of the discriptives (TEA BREWING vessel) that this was a vessel specifically for tea.
So, I have gone for tea (the drink) came before vessels specifically for tea making.
In my cup: First Flush Darjeeling
I think as with most of us, we had our first tea in tea bags in our youth. Teaware come much, much, much later.
Oh ... or is this the chicken or the egg question? Confucius say ... I have made gaiwan ... now I need one guy to fill it. Ok ... that was soooo lame. If you didn't get it, you're lucky, move on.
This morning a nice cup of Scottish Breakfast via Russian Soul I believe.
Have a nice day everyone!

Everyone thinking good thoughts about Auggy and Dell today?
In theory, Dell-man will be at my work today to fix my computer. He said between 8:30 and 9:00am. It is 8:57 so it ain't lookin' good for him.

Paris blend in my cup this morning - from the tea box. I'm not sure which has been more fun - opening the tea box or repacking it to include some of my favorites. Timing has been perfect on this because I get frustrated and I go play with all the teas spread out on my kitchen table.

One more minute and Dell-man is late.

How many teas are in that box!!??
And where's that Dell guy?
You bought that DHP locally, right? If it were available from an internet vendor, you would have sold quite a bit by now!Selaphiel wrote:Having some Imperial Da Hong Pao at the moment. Lovely as always

YIKES, $78.00 for 100 gr and almost a dollar a gram for a 25 gr sample. Now I wish it were a local Oslo shop where you got it!Selaphiel wrote: I bought it a while ago at Jingteashop.com I'm finishing what is left of it.

Although I was thinking good thoughts about you and your computer, Sal gets the credit for first writing the above.

The Dell-man has my computer's guts all spread out on the desk. It has to be in at least 10 pieces.

edited because I'm having quote issues today

Philosophically, the tea came first. Personally, teaware came first.
In the cup this morning was Oolong #8 w/a bit of OBO. This has become a favorite as it lightens the orange flavor which I like for warmer weather. Enjoyed it in the new cup & saucer that hubby surprised me w/as part of my bday present.
Another bday surprise was coming home to my part of my lilies blooming. They are my favorite flower & I'll have various ones blooming thru July. Thankfully hubby has a green thumb cause mine is black. I've been known to kill aloe vera.
