OK, so my answer contains a rationalization, but I like to think it's a good one.
I really don't usually drink anything but tea. Occasionally a glass of water, but really not that often... only if tea is not handy. I'll drink water in a restaurant if I know the tea is bad or if there is no tea. I don't drink milk unless it's in tea. I rarely drink juice. I used to drink a cup or two of coffee a day, but haven't done that for several months since my tea enthusiasm took on a new passion.
So, my rationalization is this... the water content of my total tea intake per day has to be enormous. Beyond what is actually IN the tea itself, I drink far more iced tea than hot tea. My pattern with iced tea is to used crushed ice, and I fill my large tea glass more than 3/4 full of crushed ice and then fill it with tea. After I finish the tea, I always eat the ice. So, that's my water. I have a bit of mild anemia, and craving to eat ice is a common symptom of iron deficiency. I'm taking iron twice a day, but I also eat loads of crushed ice every day from my tea.
In my cup this morning was yet another infusion of the last of my Tung Ting Jade leaves from Auggy... finished that, and now I'm drinking iced tea made with a blend of Adagio's Ceylon Sonata and Teavana's Sweet Cranberry Black.... one of my favorites for iced tea.
Have a great tea day everyone.

***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***
I voted more tea than water, but that's usually on the weekend. I hope that most weekdays I do the opposite, supposedly better thing, and drink more water than tea.
This morning I am continuing my Ginger Peach streak.
Auggy, sorry to hear about your bad morning. Luckily, they usually don't happen very often. Guess that makes us appreciate the good days.

I voted more tea than any other single drink... but water probably comes pretty close. This is summertime, after all.
I've been taking a wee break from Japanese greens. Yesterday included jasmine pearls, Adagio's citron green, silver needle, and high mountain Taiwanese oolong. Woo-hoo! Takin' a walk on the wild side.
P.S. Edited to change silver needles to silver needle. Oops. Must have been thinking of the upcoming drug thread

Auggy: Sorry about your kitty. Been through the litter box mishaps too.
Salsero: Have a very safe and enjoyable trip.
I probably drink 2 or 3 12 oz. glass iced tea now that it's hot. 2 4 or 6-oz hot tea in the morning. Maybe some green tea or Rooibos at bedtime. Right now I am finishing off a 32 oz. coke/diet coke mix from Subway.
