So, you might not want to trust this guy. Just saying
I've had my suspicions all along.
Cyn, that sunset is gorgeous! wow!
Favorite cup is probably the second cup/tea of the day. The first is my "stagger" tea. I stagger into the kitchen, make the tea, stagger into the computer...
Up next, a nice cuppa Golden Buddha from Red Blossom. mmmm... carmelly.
Poppet checks out the new recruit:

I must agree this poll is antipodal to the point of unanswerable. Perhaps - maybe - it depends on where, when, and with whom, which time of year as well as day, and the company involved. 'Other' it is.

I voted exactly the same, and for the same reasons (except that my second tea is not necessarily oolong!). Thank you for saving me the typing, Victoria
However, "first tea" this morning will be at my tea-ceremony class, which is in - uh-oh! - 45 minutes. I'm not sure, but I think we will be having koicha (thick tea) today. Talk about starting the day off with a WAKE-UP drink!

New ebay store called
"Yunnan Colorful."
Mr yang is very nice, and has been putting a small but rotating supply of tea beasts in his store. I believe he is using babelfish or something as a translator, but it works satisfactorily.

I voted for my first because it wakes me up in the morning, and I can't get anything done without it.
Is that a tea dragon? Love him! I'll have to check out the ebay store!
Thanks!

Thanks.

It is an evening shot from the other night. No balcony but we are on a hill.
It was even more amazing in person.
I'm feeling first flush sencha-like at this moment...

Tina, he's a Pi Xiu, one of the five auspicious beasts in Chinese Mythology. He is their equivalent, and performs the work of, a gargoyle. He is a lucky beast, and like most of the other auspicious beasts, has several incarnations. This one is a single horn, I forget the specific name for this phase. I love him.

Lately, my first tea has been my only tea. Life is too hectic at the moment.
Today's first and only tea is a bowl of iced matcha.
Brewing joy, happiness and green tea, like any good TeaWitch should!

Beautiful Cyn!! Is that the morning veiw from your balcony?
I voted SECOND. My first tea is usually a WAKE-UP black tea here at home. My second tea is a nice oolong at work in the quiet of the office since I am the first one in and typically have the first hour to myself.
Yeah...really beautiful!
I hate this poll...lol!!!
I voted first, but every answer I have read here could also have been mine as well.
Today, the first will likely be the best...family gathering shortly on an oppressively HOT day. First tea...shincha Yutaka Midori from O-cha. No time for a morning Adagio black today.

My first tea today however - was great -
a reprise of yesterday's Subtropical Baozhong.
Lovely.

I voted second. My first cup is usually a travel mug of flavored black on the way to work. Second cup is when I get home and relax with a green or oolong.
I just spent 20 minutes trying to order tea from Adagio and guess what I have to show for it? NOTHING.

First the cart wouldn't carry across tabs so it kept throwing things out of my cart. Then it kept asking me to log in again and clearing my cart out. Then I had my little cart all set and went to do some reviews. As soon as I'd submit my reviews, it cleaned out my cart. AUGH! I sent an email but am still steamed. If Adagio didn't have such good teas, I'd be getting my fix elsewhere. As it is... one more chance.

Yeah, you should talk to the person in charge of these things!
It's a good TeaDay here! Dropped off the kids, went shopping & now having lunch w/my favorite classic rock station cranked in the background. Enjoying more of the Shincha Hatsumi. Thanx, Britt, for letting me know it was still available!
