I've found better teas since last year, especially some higher quality oolongs.
No tea yet; there is a problem with having the computer in between my room and the kitchen, it always distracts me.
Was still on the bag last year so definite improvement!!!
W/bfast this morning, had a sample of Adagio's Golden Monkey that a TeaFriend sent me. This was very good & will be added to the list of favorite unflavored black teas! I see this tea living at my house.
Headed to a cookout w/friends later today & making a pitcher of iced White Peach to take along. Have a great day everyone!

Way better than last year due to coming here, of course!
In my cup this morning -
Glenburn Wiry Vintage Darjeeling - Delicious!
Happy Sunday Everyone!

I think we have a new standard tea term here.

Where are you in France? OOOooo and what are you having for lunch?
Today I had a light meal: steamed vegetables with the tea sauce I wrote about in this topic, some Viande des Grisons, of course cheese (Beaufort). Nothing fancy as you can see.
This afternoon Wuyu (2004 Shui Xian) and now drinking some Rooibos, finishing the day watching A's at Yankees.
yum... thanks for making me hungry...olivierco wrote:

and woot for baseball!
My tea is definitely better than last year. I went from teabags and the occasional loose leaf to all loose leaf.
I started today with the remains of the Wuyi Ensemble sample mixed with a cinnamon stick. It wasn't bad, but the cinnamon overpowered the oolong a little too much. The second steep was better balanced in flavor. Now I have moved on to the 2008 Nan Tou Dong-Ding style. I used a little bit less leaves in the gaiwan this time and was rewarded with an awesome tasting tea.

Definitely better tea in the cabinet now. My bank account doesn't thank any of you, but I do.
Spring 2007 Oolong in the cup today. Hope everyone is staying cool.

I suppose the poll results are exactly what should be expected and desired, right! But it is sooo clear cut. Very interesting. A general improvement for TeaChatters. A lot of this is due to involvement in this forum. COOL! So, joining TeaChat will improve your teaLeaf?!?
I voted about the same, a few selections were better last year than this year...and vice versa. Overall, slightly better, but not overwhelmingly. Fortunately, I have had good tea for several years running.
This year's Yutaka Midori is much better than last years...and is in my cup now, 5th steep. This stuff is sooooo good.
Earlier, I had some Adagio Keemun Concerto which was very nice as well.

I buy better teA, However I get excited, buy too much and it looses quality and gets stale. I have a good quantity of Sencha and Houjicha that I have lost interest in and let sit a little too long. My husband won't drink green tea. Any Pu ehr or oolong doesn't last long here.
It was great to see the California raisins! wow, my dad used to have a gigantic collection when I was a very young child. He had 200+ all over his office, all sizes!

Not much tea today, need more.
Rebrewing my morning leaves - still good.
So it's a black tea day for me.
