I drink about the same amount of tea year round: usually at least 3 different teas.
Start the day with 16 oz. cup, another one first thing in the office, couple resteeps of those "work leaves" through the day, at home resteep the a.m. leaves, and sometime in there manage to get in another tea or two. All the while drinking iced tea, too.
Yes, I'm addicted.

This morning's first tea was Flintridge Chai (it's still chilly here as a cold front leaves today), but it wasn't enough caffeine to recover from a rather sleepless night so I've moved on to Irish Breakfast.

It's still early. I'm a rookie compared to some of the people here. I'm actually more like beanbean, in the sense that it's a time thing. If I want to enjoy tea, I have to follow the schedule or I won't get enough sleep during the day to let me work at night.

Finally, settled at work and drinking Adagio's Dante puerh -- Euro style -- a sample courtesy of Omegapd, who has become a big shu hound. Also, live-chatting with Hop and Selaphiel in order to avoid accomplishing any work!!!

This Dante is pretty good. And a great Renaissance poet as well! "Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita..."

can't answer. I usually have 2-3 different teas/day, and it's not tied to the season.

This morning, Chai again, by request of husband. I've got lots of chai sitting around here though, so I guess it's okay that I use it up. I used Tao of Tea today, and I have to admit it's very bland, next to Rishi and even that Gypsy Tea in a teabag. (I bought that one because I loved the tin. HA!)

See? It's pretty!

I answered 2 and I drink less during the winter months. It gets pretty hot here in CA, so I drink a lot more water/soda during these months.

I have two or three different teas during the day in the summer. My tea drinking generally increases when it gets colder, especially when I am up later at college in the fall. During this summer, I have my first tea (two steeps) in a travel mug and a thermos at work, have tea #2 when I get home, and have something decaffeinated before bed.

Today, I decided to have some Valentines for breakfast just because I could. I got two good steeps out of it and haven't quite figured out what else to have today.

My tea drinking is quite the same during the year: 3 to 6 teas per day.

Darjeeling Namring SFTGFOP1 right now.

Nice tin, Geek!!! You know those are a weak spot for me. I have bought more than my share of undrinkable tea just for the tin.

At least the nice mug of foxtrot last night put me to sleep! I know this is off topic, but if anyone has any simple home remedies--involving tea or not--please share. :(
I swear Japanese greens have helped me tremendously in this area. Good to see you T4T!

It is a subtle unplanned difference for me. I might average 3 in the Summer and 4 in the Winter. It just happens that way. I guess tea is more natural when it is cold, but then again, I am drinking virtually all hot.

Adagio Keemun Concerto today. About to go find some sencha to drink.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

I need an "other" option today. :? My tea drinking isn't determined by season. It's based on amount of time & other things going on for the day. I have at least 1 type of tea per day & a minimum of 2 cups. The max for me has been 3 different teas & as much as 10 cups in a day (gotta love multiple infusions!).

Geekgirl - The tea tin is beautiful. I'd buy it, too!

This morning's tea was from the Oolong Box Pass. It's the Formosa Wuyi by Floating Tea Leaves. While it wasn't the worst tea I've had, it wasn't the greatest. The leaves were very unusual & hard to tell if it was a light or dark oolong.

And Sal, not all my teacups are fancy. This is the first one I ever got & love the simplicity.

I'm still dying to see your tea tin collection, Chip! If the prospect of photographing the lot is intimidating, maybe you can post one photo at a time. I'm very curious to see what these Chinese tins look like.

Someone in our office has contributed a container of Huang Shan Mao Feng tea to the "anyone can have this" tea area. No idea whose it is - the only English on the label says Product of France! I'm not sure how fresh it is, but I'm going to give it a try come lunch time.

I can't answer. I only started drinking tea a lot in February this year and so don't have a winter routine yet. But for summer I settled into 3 teas a day routine. An assam to wake up, cold-brewed sencha for gym or out of the house activities, and for the rest of the day an oolong that I resteep 8-10 times gongfu style.

Great cups pics today!

YAY! New teabowl in the mail today! whoohoo! (pics later, promise. :D )

Henley, I LOVE the cup. I've been looking for a long time for a nice PINK dogwood cup, haven't found one yet, though I've found the classic WHITE dogwoods. (Still don't own ANY dogwood teaware. It's a travesty.)

OK, I fixed the poll options a bit. I was too lazy last night, and the result was some confusion over the options. Hopefully this clears it up a bit.

WOW, really nice O-Cha Fukamushi Supreme session currently. I actually used just a little less leaf and it seemed to improve it a lot. :D
