The gyo looks good Sal! That's probably next up on my list to explore. I'll probably get one of the shiboridashi, it's the perfect excuse! Heh.

While I like white teas, (especially the fruit infused, I know heresy!) I don't really crave them. In fact, I haven't really "craved" any teas... until I started drinking matcha on a daily basis. Now I find that I really want my greens and my matcha. Hmmm...

Started the day with my morning matcha in my gorgeous Ozaki teabowl. Then hubby requested some "high mountain" oolong, so we had a little of the NCTG Iron Goddess "King". Yesterday, I dug into the amazing Shincha Hatsumi, wow. I could get used to that. Too bad it's all over for the year, how does the Sencha Hatsumi compare?

Wow, quiet day here so far.

I answered 5 as well. If I have it, I do enjoy it quite a bit. But I don't, and I am not in any kind of "must have" mode. Still, it is such a nice change of pace and so elegant, especially silver needles.

So far, only had Adagio Keemun Concerto. I am going for the the green right now.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

I've only tried four white teas. I enjoyed the flavored ones but the one plain white tea was not too great. Adagio's White Peach and White Blueberry are definitely some of my favorites, but not the type of teas that I end up craving.

This morning, I decided to make some White Peach to go with the poll topic. It's delicious as always.

Nice photo, Geek. I had the shincha as well. Although I have not had the ichibancha Hatsumi, typically O-Cha sencha runs consistantly from shincha to regular first flush. Sometimes not quite as intense.

I voted 3, I do not crave them. I've only had a couple and maybe didn't appreciate the distinctions of white tea.

I do have some White Masala Chai blend from Yogic Chai that's really good, though. It tastes "lighter" than regular chai, and tastes great without any milk. (is that heresy?)

This morning had a big 'ol mug of Darjeeling #22, now having plain old ceylon/assam blend.

amazing photo salsero and GeekgirlUnveiled! I haven't really tried many white teas, though I have a nice Bai Mu Dan whenever the urge comes up. The flavor is very fresh and sweet, also mellow at the same time. Maybe I should start on my Bai Mu Dan now...but after I finish the Ali-Shan oolong I have steeping right now

Regarding whites, I used to love Pai Mu Tan. Then I bought 100 grams of a not-so-good one that i never finished, had to throw it away. I have Bai Hao Yin Shen in my cup board now but haven't tasted it... yet!

Haha! I do know! I think I go to Hawaii more than LA! Sounds crazy, but I plan
to fix that soon with a trip to Hankook and Lupicia!

Usually you use slightly less leaves with shincha than with the regular sencha version.

Darjeeling Risheehat SFTGFOP1 right now.

3 here. Not a huge fan of whites, but I'm always willing to try them.

Pretty boring teawise here, just a couple of Assams to keep me going.

Thanx. I looked through your Flickr photostream yesterday. Relaxing and very impressive!

That tea canister is in fact not a tea canister, but does rather well at its new job. I stole it from my mother. She used it for foreign coins
The noise comes from the other side of the mirror
