Lapsang or the dreaded kombucha came to mind when I read the poll. [shudders]

Yunnan Gold to begin as usual! Nepal FF with cider donuts yesterday, and I have enough of all to repeat! Yum!

Happy TeaDay!

Nice to see you back around here, Omegapd!

At the risk of being banned, my vote had to go for green simply because there are so few of them that I actually like. If marooned w/dragonwell, genmai cha, gunpowder or hojicha, I'd rather drink sea water. Close behind would be floral herbals. Yuck! And let's don't even talk about kombucha.Image

In this morning's cup is a lovely & yummy Shui Xian from Tea Spring. The cup is one that hubby gave me last week. Have a great day! :D

Lovely cup Henley! Congrats!

Blue Nilgiri in my cup this morning, at least I don't have to
worry about oolong winning this poll!

Have a nice day everyone!

Not sure what cider donuts are exactly, but I am willing to learn. :P

This was so easy as I wrote the poll. But I have read some even more convincing arguments and now I am not as certain. I voted herbals right away, but Lapsang and kombucha are right up there as well.

Started the day with Yutaka Midori which was a very nice experience :D . Currently, Adagio GM. Oolong box pass will be next. I am actually craving AliShan which is not in the box. :(
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Good Morn to all!
Well, I am breaking my 'GREEN' streak this morn and drinking Adagio oolong#18 from my sampler. Sorry Chip, this is in honor of the apparent oolong coupe in the still on going poll from yesterday.

It does appear that Queen of Oolong shall reign for a day, but I have a feeling the King will prevail as he owns the 'ban hammer!'

Seriously, I do enjoy the fun/banter/friendly competition that occurs regularly on this forum. It certainly keeps things interesting and enjoyable! I always look forward to TeaDay and the Daily Poll especially for what tea will reign supreme.

Sal, thanks for trying to help me w/ that quote thingy, I have a feeling to quote someone, resistance is futile I'm not gonna get it! :)

I'm not ready to vote yet, but the pic of the kombucha looks like it came right out of Dr. Frankenstein's Lab yuuck!!!!!!!!! I agree with you Victoria....Off the island and no tea for me if that's the choice!

Have a FAB TeaDay!

booo-erh. I'd use it to make a fire. Then cry about it.

Having...some sort of oolong. I dunno, it was already in the triniTEA when I came in this morning, so I tooks it.

Adagio #18 for me this morning. 3rd infusion continuation from lunch yesterday. Still deeeeelightful. After my TGY session last night I notice some similarities between the two. Yet, very different at the same time.

Absolutely loathe herbal, flavored, scented teas.

Are you biting into a bell pepper as you say this? Because I'm picturing you as Chairman Kaga.

I voted for (against?) pu-erh. I've tried to try it, but it scares me. And I don't want to be trapped on an island with scary tea.

Darjeeling 2nd flush this morning. Yum! And once again no work to do. But I brought a few magazines to read, so that's good. And - HOCKEY TONIGHT! First regular season Ducks game. Woo hoo!

Hmm, what kind of tea goes well with hockey?

Drinking Adagio's sencha overture this morning, enjoying it quite a bit~

I voted to avoid black. Don't get me wrong, there are black teas I enjoy, and every now and then I consider Irish breakfast an essential part of a good.. breakfast.. but black teas are my least favorite in general. (Which again, is far from saying I dislike them!)

I'm starting to feel a little odd-man out though since half of my favorite teas aren't really teas. (Yay herbals?)

That sounds nasty, horsencl. I hope you get plenty of bed rest and feel better soon!

Lapsang Souchong. I don't like it very much and I think I might be able to make some by myself.

Miyabi sencha when I get home.

Auggy, in reference to "The Chairman", that would be Chip...ooooh another title for him.
[hint: I threw that in so he doesn't 'ban' me for mentioning the darkside's "Probable" win!]

Didn't he say the Iron Chef was one of his fav reality shows?
And this oolong is great, on 3rd steep!

Victoria wrote:Actually most herbals aren't my thing, yet I can think of worse -

I could get used to herbals if nothing else was available but -
Kombucha - Gets voted OFF the ISLAND!!!!

Those who don't know and those who are brave may click HERE
to find out more.
I voted "for" herbals, figuring if I was desperate enough I could scavenge ingredients on the island, but then I saw Victoria's post of Kombucha. I had never heard of it before, it looks VERY scary!

Irish Breakfast this morning, the last of my supply until my Adagio order comes today.

Yes, me too ... But instead I'm having Huang Guan Yin from Tea Spring.
