(Nothing for the trick or treaters. I'm keeping the porch light off and eating all the chocolate myself. )

Oh! And today is my fourth wedding anniversary. I can't believe it's been four years already! I look forward to many, many more years with my sweetie. *mushiness*
Congratulations! This year will be 30 for us! :D

I voted lapsang -- I've got some really oak smoky lapsang. When I brew it at work I have to warn folks that there is NOT a fire in the building!

My regular darjeeling in the cup this morning.

 We mourned and celebrated the life of Delilah this morning as she passed away last night with Gyokuro Yame. Sweetie seems to like Japanese greens in the morning, so blacks have taken a back seat for the morning brew, tsk tsk. Wulong joined in, climbing up to my shoulders.

She was pretty old and did not suffer, very grateful for this.

Sorry to hear of Delilah's passing, Chip. Will toast to her life with Gyokuro in a little bit!
**hugs**

We live up on a hill, so the hearty trick-or-treaters who climb deserve the good stuff!

Oh! So sorry to hear about Delilah, Chip. I can't even imagine.

We're not handing out candy this year -- we've only gotten 3-4 trick or treaters each year for the past few. I'll just have to hit the post-Halloween candy and decoration sales... all for me.

Ugh. No tea yet -- I just woke up.

No tricks. Treat for ourselves is a tea seminar this evening :D I think, they will offer some real tea and white chrysanthemum herbal tea as our treat!

Xin Yang Mao Jian in my cup now.

That's the better part. May she rest in peace.

If I were giving tea to Trick or Treaters, it would be the nassy RoT flavored tea from the 90's, because my experience has clearly demonstrated that after a short time, those teas are all fragrance and no flavor... the ultimate evil trick (I've been the victim of it as a tea consumer in my early days!). Plus, I really don't like Trick or Treaters coming to my house (I'm not a scrooge, just don't like opening the door to strangers at night on halloween when I am here alone)... so I want to give them a tea that will ensure they do NOT come back.

In my cup this morning was Assam Harmony... first time I have drank any Assam in a couple of months or more. I was sorting through my sample cabinet looking for odds and ends I could finish up, and that's what I came out with. After getting used to the delicacy and fragrance and fabulous deliciousness of the FF Darjeelings I've been drinking, the Assam was like an aggressive assault on my tastebuds... strong, astringent, bold, and tasty all the same. Was a nice change of pace, but now I am heading back to my Djs.

Happy Halloween to all... and Chip, my deepest sympathy for the loss of sweet Delilah.

I'm sorry to hear that, Chip :( My condolence's (hugs)

I would give the trick or treaters the stale lipton bags from my desk drawer at work hehe. Unfortunately, I will be a trick or treater tonight with my little 5-10 year old friends. I pass for a 14-16 year old teen since, I wear glasses, have braces, and only 5 ft tall. Thanks to all of the green tea I've been drinking that keeps me looking this young

This morning, no tea of any kind yet- just orange juice. I'm patiently waiting for my rooibos blend I ordered from Adagio, which I'm hoping to get today. It should be good, it's called "Very Berry Caramel Cake". It has a touch of caramel & vanilla rooibos with berry blast herbal.

Happy Monster Day All!

I'd go with the Lapsang Souchong. It's so smokey that it's likely to throw them for a loop. Though it may end up with some quizzical parents wondering what you're giving out to children. :P

Right now I'm greatly enjoying some Ti Kuan Tin with three Jasmine #12 pearls blended in for a lovely floral touch. Yummy!
I believe drinking tea makes me a better artist. But hey, I also believe I'm completely sane.

Hehe, I voted stale Lipton tea bags, very scary indeed! Since I opted not to go to school today here are the pics of my new teaware early. Nothing special but a nice set to learn on for sure. I am very impressed by the quality of all the items.

Caligatia: Congrats!

Chip: sorry to hear about Delilah.

I'd go with stale Lipton teabags. Most parents would be too wary of the loose tea without knowing what it was and if they are anything like my mother, anything unwrapped or partially opened got thrown out. Therefore, to inflict the most trickery, sealed but stale Lipton teabags should work quite well.

Sadly, we are not doing anything for Halloween this year. We don't get trick-or-treaters in my college dorm. We do get to laugh at the other college students wearing skimpy costumes when there is snow on the ground though and raid the after Halloween candy sales.

Today, I am drinking cherry rose sencha.

How lovely, Shogun! I should try and get a set like that! Actually, I would have it already, but my parents told me last night that I'm not allowed to buy any more tea or teaware since it takes up too much room.

I guess it's time for me to move out then! :D
