A friend told me in many offices in China, gong fu style tea is banned, because it's too much leisure

Drinking of other tea, like green tea or non-gong fu style for oolong is ok. After all, nobody dare to ban all kinds of tea
As for me, if I have little time to boil water, and too busy to enjoy, I would go for rose bud or cheap jasmine green tea. If I am not that busy to enjoy, I would go for chrysanthemum (that's before the discussion of bug issue though) or some better green tea. If I do have a lot of time to enjoy, I go for oolong. And very often I don't have time for anything but plain water

I try to make more time for tea though, because that helps break my long session staring at computer screen.

I can't say anything back, because it's true...

Plus, I want her to keep sending me stuff.
Enjoyed a baggie of White Tangerine tea this morning. Pretty good stuff for bagged.
Two white teas in a row with yesterday's nightcap of Upton's Grapefruit. That's gotta be a first ever for me.

* Oh yeah, the question- I have a travel mug, strainer and electric kettle at work. The taste of my work tea is just as good as what I can do at home.

I am back to being a full time student and it is exceedingly difficult to get a cup of tea that is drinkable. Everyone is all about coffee on campus and while many of the kiosks sell "tea" it's really just hot water and a dried out old tea bag.
I drink plenty of tea first thing in the morning and then have another cup in the early evening so I do okay. I just drink water at school.

Working in a childcare facility, we are not allowed to have hot liquids of any type inside the building. So, the only tea I get while I'm at work is when I go to the nearby coffee shop on my break

Black and oolong teas are not so easy for me to brew. The hot water dispenser has only one temperature setting so I end up steeping for a long time. It's kind of neat though because the lower temps bring out different qualities of the tea
Farmers shincha this morning.
Happy tea day everyone!

Making tea at work is impossible, even if I bought a kettle strictly for work, the water is awful. (at home we have well water)
I improvise by bringing iced tea from home in a sigg bottle.
This morning is my cup is Tao of Tea Nilgiri Neela. Good stuff!

Good morning, in my cup this morning is Adagio Spring Darjeeling.
I just recently bought a large size of this one, having only sample
size tins in between. Seems a little more astringent than the sample
sizes did. I went through 3 1/2 of them craving more.
Have a nice day everyone!

My vote was "Tea Prep is fairly easy and so is enjoyment."
But, for work, I do all the prep at home and bring my already brewed tea in a travel mug. I am just an intern at the moment so I don't have my own desk or anything (I work in a conference room).
I had Adagio's Ceylon Sonata in my travel mug this morning... but, I hit bottom before 9am.
For school, I carry Tazo Zen tea bags (dun dun duhhh!) in my purse and get hot water from the cafeteria. Hot water is free but if you use one of their Lipton tea bags, it's 50 cents... which is way more than I would give for those things.
Sal, great picture, as always. I haven't been on TeaChat in a while (sorry!) so I think missed out on some awesome pictures.

I have always been able to brew tea relatively easily. I would bring my own water, and when possible, have a kettle. Enjoyment ... hmmm, that was harder, mostly due to the stares and odd comments.
Started the day with Organic Sencha from Kagoshima/Rishi. Sweetie was an active participant, but Little Bit was the only spectator. I thought that was odd, and called out,
"CHA!" This brought Wulong, better late than never.
Currently, some leftover home made Mugicha and Karigane from last night.

Hey Scarlet, it was nice to "meet" you this weekend! (And your little dog too!)

I have a re-order of this coming any day now. I thought the Neela and the Blue were both excellent and plan to keep them both on hand, at least until I decide between them.

I'm currently unemployed so work isn't a factor at the moment. I have a hard time making tea when I am at school though. On Mondays they usually put out free coffee and tea since evening classes are usually all working adults. I bring my own tea bags and use their semi-tepid water. They just run water through a coffee maker and it is never quite hot enough to even make good bagged tea. I did just bug a travel press so hopefully that will improve my ability to make tea when I am not at home.

I've been miserly with my samples until I'm able to place an order, but I really needed something excellent in my cup this morning as it's gonna be a tough day.
Hope you're recovered from your mishap yesterday!
Shelob, sorry you're not feeling well. I'm sure you're looking forward to when you're back to feeling like yourself again.

Hope you feel better Shelob *offers a nice warm cup of ginger tea*
Making tea at work for me is a breeze since I have my own Breville kettle, ingenuiTEA, thermometer, timer, and drawer full of yummy tea. So enjoying it is also a breeze. People wonder how I ever manage to fit in my tea sessions, it's just all about multi-tasking hehe.
This morning, nothing fancy, just African Solstice herbal from Tea Fortè.
