I said 'great' just because although we sell such lovelies, when it comes to brewing tea at the store we usually either use the tasting sets like Adagio just started selling, a large pot for the 'tea of the moment' or the small pots for the restaurant.
If I want to gong fu anything I have to bring in my own wares, but then it makes it difficult to actually do any work. ^_^
Drinking some Meijiawu Lung Ching before work. Love this tea!

I'm a bit confused by the poll question. I have 'ok' teaware for office use, but the tea I drink kicks a** !! I keep a stash of certified organic traditional-style Taiwan oolong (traditional means oxidized longer and medium roast - not high mountain style), medium quality TKY, and a light oolong or Baojong in my bottom drawer, and I'm pretty much covered. I use a glass infuser for general brewing, and my trusty pocket tea set (see photo) when I have time. We have a water boiler in our school kitchen, so I usually fill a thermos up and use that with my gaiwan, or fill the infuser directly.
I'd say it's not as much the teaware as the attention to preparation that makes a good cup of tea at work. I usually end up having to make tea for my office mates (who are all Chinese) because they think they 'don't do it right!' Hah!
Salsero, you're my hero! I may need to send you some tea!!! Sorry for the extra large image - I promise I'm not 'compensating' for anything - just getting used to photobucket!!!

Open a free Photobucket account and upload the photos to the Photobucket account. Copy the IMG link that accompanies your photo and paste it in your post here. The photo remains at Photobucket, but magically looks like it is here.teaguy wrote: I'm having trouble uploading the photo here
It's not a bad idea to resize the photo (either in your own software or in Photobucket) to no more that 600 pixels in the longest dimension, otherwise people using Internet Explorer get some minor but irritating image size problems. You can also upload the photo to photobucket and copy and paste a "Direct Link" here; the photo won't appear in TeaChat, but the link will take people to it.
You can paste a small (600 px) photo in here and link to a larger image (if you have both in photobucket) or a different image or a slide show by filling your Direct Links into the following formula in a TeaChat post:

Mine is ok. Even though I use a mug at work most of the time, I think mug works excellent for most Chinese green teas. And I have a Taiwanese style, ingenuiTea-like glass gongfu pot. I actually like it a lot, but feel it's too "informal" to use at home, so it's perfect for office

I voted 'other' which translates as "I have no teaware at work, nowhere to keep any, and no time to enjoy it."
Sometimes I come to work with both a heat-resistant travel mug and a Sigg bottle to get me through the day. I'm sure my co-workers think it's overkill, but then I just enjoy my tea and think of what they are missing.
This morning I have some Nilgiri Thiashola from SpecialTeas, courtesy of the lovely and generous kymidwife.

I have a set of the same thing! But I guess mine is the cheaper version of yoursteaguy wrote: Salsero, you're my hero! I may need to send you some tea!!! Sorry for the extra large image - I promise I'm not 'compensating' for anything - just getting used to photobucket!!!

Besides, in my set, the "sharing pitcher" doesn't work well at all. It spills water all over when I try to pour water from it. Does yours work well? I wonder if it's because of the shape of it or because mine is cheap.
Mine is cheap too. The trick is to tip it up quickly when you start the pour, but then back off and let it trickle into the cups. If you pour it very fast at all, it goes all over the place.
I went back to the shop twice and had the guy demonstrate it for me with my set - It was like trying to figure out a magic trick for awhile.

Mine is definitely the cheap version. My box and the little towel by far don't look as nice as yours (actually my little towel looks awful

The towel isn't part of the set, but it is a nice one.
Where did you get your set? I haven't seen them in the US before. They're fairly common in Taiwan, but some are really crappy. Every store seems to get theirs from a different source, so it's luck of the draw. I like this one because it's plain - most of the ones I saw have stickers on them that are very ugly.

I have always tried to have some good and functional teaware at work, though never the best. I usually have a decent kyusu and a Chinese pot, a pitcher, an infuser if needed, and a few Asian cups. I tend to bring pieces in I think i NEED there and they accumulate beyond reason.
Started the day with MATCHA, it has been too long. Then some Sencha Premier from Adagio/Cyn. Sweetie liked the matcha, Wulong, Honi Belle, Pyrit, and Lil' Bit were spectators ... or participants in a non tea way.
