By the way - I'm not knocking TeaCuppa, I just don't use them as my go-to vendor like I did before TC.
In my cup this morning a generic green Darjeeling; and it tastes it.
Have a nice day everyone!

Not changed Tea Vendors Yet
When I embarked on my new tea Experiences I totally overdid it in the amount I purchased.
I am still working my way through about 50 teas that i bought from the following vendors
SevenCups
Teacuppa
DragonHouse
Teance
Hou De
Plus some teas that I purchased in Malaysia in April, woe is me I have not even been near some of these.
The 5 vendors that I have purchased from, have by and large provided me with a wealth of more than satisfactory products, all seem to have further offerings that I am keen to try!
One vendor that I looked at before I joined this forum was Tea Habitat (Tea Obsession) The main reason that I did not purchase was that there was no easy way that I could find of placing an order. All the others seem to have readily accessible, easy ordering methods. Either I am missing something or it seems you have to drop an Email and start a conversation ? in order to acquire some tea!
Many comments on the forum suggest the teas can be special, but as I have such large stock left I will resist the temptation to send an inquiry. I can't easily find out if they ship overseas.
I keep reading about very interesting tea on these pages and have to resist immediately ordering them. I have been so hooked on Oolong since I came home in April, my Malaysian Green Teas, Flowering teas and PuEr cakes are all still unopened.

The conversation here is wonderful. I love hearing about other venders, I'm sure it helps your business here on TeaChat.
My first teas arived from Adagio last night, so this morning I'm wired from trying so many.
Silver Needle - Wonderful and fragrant! Will order again. Sip - oh yeah, that is nice!
Wuyi Ensemble - very nice, reminded me of my first oolong from the grocery store.
Oolong #40 - reminds me of a nice black tea, sweetener would go great with this one
Jasmine #12 - A little bitter, I think I over heated the water and will try again tomorrow
ti kuan yin - a complete pass for me

Trey is so right about Tea Chat being bad for the wallet! It has been hard to convince my husband that I need to order tea when there is still some in the canister. Just because he likes one and only tea - Irish Breakfast blend - doesn't mean that the major consumer of tea in the household is happy with only one kind of tea.
In my cup (third pot of the day) is a spice blend I make, using loose Irish Breakfast blend from Twinings as base and simmered spices, candied orange peel and candied ginger. It gives double duty, one as a tea and the other as an air freshener.

Yeah, my main vendor has changed, but I still order from them. There's just more variety.
TeaChat is a great big bunch of enablers! I love it. My boyfriend, who hates tea and hot drinks in general, just smiles and nods when I say I bought more tea, because it's hopeless to do otherwise. I just appealed to his inner economist and pointed out that tea is cheaper per cup than pretty much anything else I would drink, and that shut him right up.
So far, an Assam blend with breakfast, and some Fujian Baroque. I'm dragging today.

I have had my list of possible vendors greatly expanded by TeaChat. This forum is seriously bad for the wallet.

I haven't been affected much about which vendors to go (yet
) But I am definitely tempted a lot by quite some products and new vendors after seeing them on teachat
I am having keemun black in my office now. I used to see keemun black as a 2nd tier tea, having it for years but never treasuring it very much. But this year I am so into it and feel like I am re-discovering it. I guess, that's because I am aging

Until I found Adagio, my main source of tea was the grocery store. Had no source for white teas, and, in fact, hadn't even discovered them. Now I love them!
For breakfast, I had a cup of Adagio's Snowbud white tea, and here at work I've got a small pot of the Ceylon Tea Company's 1001 Nights, a blend of black and green teas with a touch of rose blossoms, sunflowers, oranges, and strawberry. The fruit and flower tastes are subtle enough to not overpower the tea flavor.
When I go home tonight, I'll relax with a cup of Adagio's Silver Needle white.

I voted maybe. I didn't yet have a vendor or vendors of choice before TC and TC has influenced which are vendors I purchase from the majority of the time.
Coconut tea this morning (oh so long ago). Not sure what I'll have when I get home. I'm getting kind of low on my staple teas and trying to finish off some samples I have. So tea selection lately has been somewhat random and spur of the moment.
My mom made her first Adagio order today. Yay, go mom!
