Yep, I vote ban her.treazure wrote: There are so many Pu's. Which was my lover of earthy dark?

From your description, I'd say he was either Pu Shu or at least a pretty darn old Sheng. Why don't you take up with someone that has a little nicer name, like Darjeeling. He sounds like a nice boy, especially if you get him in the First Flush.
I do have to agree, there are way too many Pu out there. They take all your money today and all you can do is hope they age gracefully.
OMG, is it getting hot in here?

I voted provocative, and after reading Treazure's post, I couldn't be more sure that I made the right choice!
Tea provokes many sensations, thoughts, and emotions... and from this day forward, some new ones that hadn't previously crossed my mind.
In my cup now is Margaret's Hope Darjeeling, extremely delicious. But ermmm... pass the Pu.
My sister and sister-in-law want to SHOP... so, Black Friday, here we come.

Have a great Tea Day, everyone.

HA, ban me? Moi? That gorgeous photograph you posted today screamed sex! The hard, upright, penetrative whisk, the open bowl....
Think I'll go shower now and maybe call my Irish Breakfast blend, with his familiar brogue, sweet and milky against my tongue, strong body...
Showering now.

I thought a long time about it last night.
Oddly, the best words I could come up with to describe my experience of tea are textural words like silky or velvety... because the satisfaction of drinking a smooth, mellow tea gives me the same feeling.
Maybe I'm synesthetic and don't know it

Mysterious perhaps, although many on the list could be included in my description of my fave tea as well as some added by posters. Mysterious as in hard to figure out, understand fully, and my inability to simply brew it perfectly each time, even with all my fancy gadgets. But the mysterious nature captures my curiousity.
Started the day with Sencha Premier a la Adagio. A very good seesion. Sweetie seeemed to like it, Gandalf seemed interested, Wulong made a cameo, and TEAh was quite curious.

ROFL. Treazure, I love that post. And Chip, this is your fault. You two need to be writing torrid romance novels!
I voted for "comforting." When I'm upset, cold, etc, black tea hits just right.

In my cup this morning Adagio fujian baroque.
I'm not a Black Friday Shopper - I refuse to participate in that madness.

Wow, so many great and enticing adjectives makes it very hard to choose how to describe my tea preference. However, I am choosing Bold as the best example of how I like my tea, but like others have mentioned there are many that would work, but BOLD is the best to use for my everyday preference in tea.
Japanese greens always to me are bold first, then move to smooth, to subtle, just to name a few!
Have A FAB teaDay
Oops, in my cup Nilgiri
Chip, who is Teah????, another geisha who resides in your humble abode atop Mt. Fugi? Don't think you mentioned her before. Think I might like to drop by there on my travels and check out all these gals living w/ya! Not to mention your TEa StaSH

Bold! I like flavours that jump out at me and don't leave me hanging. Maybe that's why I like herbal teas so much. Lemongrass, Hibiscus, Honeybush, Peppermint, there's no real subtlety to them, which is fine with me because I'm rarely ever subtle.
Speaking of herbal teas, in my cup right now is a lovely cup of Adagio's Honeybush Orange. Nice and fruity, and it's easy on my poor sore throat. I hate cold season

I believe drinking tea makes me a better artist. But hey, I also believe I'm completely sane.

I went with provocative. Wuyi oolongs and pu-erh have been challenging my notions of what tea is, and I totally dig that. Good tea tempts me and makes me want to get to know it better, to lose myself in the cup.
Damn. I need to make some now. Although Treazure's posts make me want a glass of ice water instead...
