I would say Japan.  Interesting how this poll differ from the last one when Japanese teas blew everything away. Tastes definitely change with the seasons I am guessing. Well, the poll is still young.

I have had some very good gyokuro and sencha this past month.

The fun tea of the month would be homefiring Japanese style Genmai and Mugi and playing around with the roasting and blending. I doubt if I will ever buy genmaicha again since it just tastes better homemade. "and is as fun to make as it is to drink."

Started the day with Adagio Sencha Premier, a very good session. Only Sweetie and Gandalf the Gray shared the morning tea time with me.

Wow, time is flying by quickly. It seemed like a month ago that I just answered this question. Last month it was Taiwan, with high mountain teas in particular. This month, however, is the month of Wuyi and Dan Cong. I ordered tons of samples from TeaCuppa and I've just been going nuts. I'm in love with most of their Wuyi teas, which have that nice fruitiness that I crave, along with some nice chocolate and spicy notes. I've been sampling way too many teas, that I'm way behind on reviewing them on my blog

Same here. Wuyis are a perfect transition into a toasty TKY December. :)

China, as usual. It's been a month full of roasty Wuyi oolongs.

It's the last day of the semester for me, and I ought to be furiously writing a paper at the moment. I'm so going to need this Wuyi Amber to get through it.

India for me this time. I fell in love with the Nilgiris from TeaSource this month and thoroughly enjoyed the other Nilgiri samples that I got to try as well thanks to some swapping.

I had a good time last night taking advantage of the Adagio sale this weekend. I got a few samples for my father, a few for my fiance's sister who made the mistake of telling me that she liked tea, a holiday sampler for our family gift exchange (criteria this year were $10 and either edible, handmade, or both so tea fit perfectly), plus a few extras that I needed to stock up on like a tin of Casablanca Twist since it is finally back in stock. I am very much looking forward to trying the new batch of that. Today, I started off with some cherry rose sencha in hope of finishing off a few more sample tins before the order arrives..

Continuing the day with some awacha and keeping true to my vote for Japan having the best teas for the month!

I am voting India this month. Like Victoria and Cinnamon Kitty, Nilgiri teas charmed me all month long (and continue to, I had Nilgiri Glendale FOP at breakfast.)

I voted China, because I've been Wuyi oolong and pu-erh chick this month. Speaking of which, time for some Taiwan Wuyi. Yeah, okay, so it emigrated. It's still tasty. :)

interesting question. Wulongs from Fujian for me.

I hope we do not offend any of our mainland China friends by distinguishing Taiwan and China as separate countries.

Also, how do you answer if your tea is a blend?

India! This month has been abundently good to me with a variety of delicious Darjeeling and Nilgiri teas.

I got an Adagio order this morning, and finally was able to try two teas I've been awaiting... White Darjeeling and Casablanca Twist. Both are really good... the White Darjeeling is an amazing sublime white tea with a gentle Darjeeling aroma and taste... too delicate for a go-to everyday tea, but it's absolutely a delight and a must-try if you like whites and Darjeelings.

The Casablanca Twist was a WOW... some of the nicest peppermint aroma and flavor I've found in any tea... totally fresh and powerful. It was heavier on peppermint and lighter on Darjeeling than I'd expected, but absolutely delicious... I may blend it a bit with more Darjeeling and see what happens.

I got one of my own signature blends too... and it turned out so great, I was really pleased. I posted about it under Signature Blends.

In my cup now is Tequila Sunrise signature blend... but I have also had some Darjeeling 1, White Darjeeling, and Casablanca Twist. It's been a busy tea morning!

Sarah
***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

I'm still rationing out my Japanese spring tea and it is always my absolute fave.
I think now that it's getting colder out I'm having more oolong urges. I also just picked up a few ounces of dragonwell that I'm looking forward to sampling.

Genmai matcha this morning. :D

I have had a varied tea-month, and it seems I have mostly had Chinese teas, at least based on volume. No tea today, though - too busy.

I had also some very good sencha and keemun this month.

Keemun Rhapsody (Adagio) in a few minutes.
