I've been way out of line for my tea budget, so I need to cut back now at the end of the year. Especially with the tight economy, and as a graduating senior from college, I'm starting to few financial strains. So I'm starting to cut back a little in case post-graduation plans don't work out. It's really sad that this has to happen around the holidays, but oh well, I'm still enjoying the tons of tea I still have left.

Have not planned any tea or teaware purchases for now, have plenty of both at the moment. I might buy some tea and/or teaware as christmas presents though :)

Having Darjeeling Jungpana 2nd flush now. Had this every day the last couple of days, this really is a good second flush Darjeeling.

I am craving teas even more than usual. Lately it's black teas. Like, can't get through even mid-morning without feeling like a wolf for tea.

Sal, the photo as usual is gorgeous. However, what a beautiful color the tea is. What is that in your cup today?

Definitely not. I am not buying any further tea or teawares this month, and hopefully not until the spring teas come out. I have way more than I need, and I really want to use up what I have before it gets stale. My tea budget has been way out of control these last 6 months, and TeaChat is a terribly bad influence! As much as I love being part of this tea community, I have actually seriously considered withdrawing for a while. I have a credit card that badly needs to be paid off... and if I shut off my internet/cable and stopped buying tea and teawares until Spring, I'd be in much better shape.

I am usually too self-indulgent to make such a sacrifice... we'll see what I decide.

Sarah

I still need to figure out what I'm getting the rest of the people in my life before I can order more stuff. Although I did just place an order at Andao, but that's because the tea table I've wanted for a month now has been out of stock until yesterday.

Pancakes and Pheonix Oolong (from the Tea Gallery) for me so far today.

I'm definitely looking at and buying more this December. Mostly for gifts though. I've been picking up some holiday teas for myself, but aside from that personal tea purchases are pretty much on hold.

Maybe - I have been looking a bit more, but only because December represents a new budget month where 2k will NOT be spent to cash flow a TV, so things are looser now. On the other hand, I have requested attractive English teacups for Christmas, so while I'm looking, I'm not buying. I have made two tea orders since the beginning of the month, though. :)

I've been looking a little more, but not necessarily buying. The one order that I placed recently for tea had gifts for two people and a set of samplers to use as a grab bag gift for our family's gift exchange. I've also been looking for a gaiwan, a 16oz teapot, and some tea to add to my Christmas list.

I am starting off today with the last of the Scottish Breakfast tea sample from Caligatia. It's quite good with a touch of milk and sugar and goes very well with my oatmeal.

Nopers, definitely not looking this month. Since I know I will be receiving a lot of tea gifts from friends and family this holiday, I figure I wait til next year to look again (unbelievable how next year is just around the corner!).

I'm about to brew some Ali shan to help clear this greasy lunch I'm having lol.

Hi Sal... I was a bit confused because I thought you meant the Keemun Rhapsody was what was in the cup in the photo... but now I see you titled your original post Bulang Spring Buds. So... never mind :-)

edit: Jazz88 - Thanks for the link.
