Would a wide-screen HD TV count as a tea accessory?
I voted maybe, because I'd have to think about it for a long time. I'm so used to sticking to my budget that spending $500 at one time on tea-related items would make me feel guilty.
Had some iced Raspberry Lime Rickey blend from Adagio this morning while waiting for the water to heat up. This is one of the few flavored teas that I like. Not sure what I'll have later!
Hope everyone has a good day!

We don't Ding How Now Brown Cow our tea or even Hong Kong Fooie it and I already have the ultimate, perfect teapot for English/Irish/Scots/Welsh style tea, the Brown Betty. Rather than making 25 trips to the kitchen to get High Tea (Sunday and holidays, low tea every other day) on the table, everything could fit on the tea cart and I could push it in here.
Since my mobility is getting a bit iffy and I drop things at times, I want a tea cart, so I voted other. I don't want to wait till I'm back in the blank blank blanketdy blank wheelchair before we get one.
Dratted thing is, a local member of our area's chat group has a gorgeous real wood, not veneer or plywood, tea cart with all the bells and whistles for $50. Yep, fifty buckeroos. But the husband person doesn't think it is necessary. He doesn't mind me paying fifty dollars for teas and co##ee, but he says no on the tea cart.

ARGH! At least he drinks tea and cleans litter boxes.

I could likely find a kyusu or set for around 500 bucks, but I remember how my hands started to shake when I picked up a 400 USD one "accidentally" at Ito En.GeekgirlUnveiled wrote:Exactly what I thought! Although for $200 I could get the tokoname teapot I covet, and for the balance I could pick up gyo set.Victoria wrote:Humm I was thinking $500 seemed too high for one thing,
then I remembered a silver kettle.
So, Geek's plan is a good one.
Although my Asian and especially Japanese tea canister fetish could lead me down Olivier's path.
Started the day with Adagio Sencha premier. Sweetie rarely misses the first tea of the day and this was no exception. I guess everyone else was taking cat naps.

Then Organic Matcha Kaoru from O-Cha.

In my cup this afternoon Tao of Tea Darjeeling Prithvi.
One of the limited editions it's good but pretty astringent.
Trying to finish this on off so I can reuse the tin!!

That's an easy question for me. I won't get a lot of ultimate tea at one time. That sounds so overwhelming!
And I don't use that many kinds of tea accessories. So I would go for an ultimate tea pot/set. I normally don't want to buy very expensive tea pot/set. Besides financial limitation, I feel I have butter fingers and break things constantly. Using expensive ware makes me nervous. But heehee if the money is GIVEN to me, I would love to go expensive
Had a great tea day today. Started with Kenya mamri tea, then bee luo chun, then high mountain jin xuan oolong

By sitting in peace and doing nothing,
You make your one day worth two days.
