Omega, how do you like the Citron Green? I was surprised to find that I like it very much.
It's okay, I guess. Mine is actually a mix of the Adagio and Upton ones. I couldn't tell enough difference between the two and wanted to use the Adagio sampler tin for something else. So far, the best flavored green I've tried from Adagio is the Apricot one. That's the only one I think I'll re-order.

More tea!
Its slow in the Pu of the day thread, so I will post here today.

2003 Jing Mai Round Cake * Tai Lian Tea Factory

Revisiting this tea with a Yixing rather than the Gaiwan today.
I pulled the amount of leaves back a g and increased the steep time a few seconds and are getting some good results.
I think I will buck the trend on this one and say its a keeper.

Holiday Cheer

by CHArming » Dec 17th, '08, 14:04

I love a good cup of holiday cheer. I have to say, I will be drinking more tea as well. I drink it with breakfast and during the day. But now my roommate has just got her first tetsubin and every night I bring out a different tea for her to try. She has been an espresso drinker until now. She is so excited to enter the tea world. I just have to keep coming up with different things for her to try until she figures out what she really likes. Any suggestions?

I had some Iron Goddess with my tea this morning. Then I moved into my typical midmorning Dragonwell (it goes down easy and I just love using that pot, it has such a nice pour). Next will be onto some afternoon Genmaicha. Tonight I am introducing my roommate to some Dragon Pearl Jasmine from Fu-Jian. Good tea, good times.

I definitely feel the stress, I haven't even mailed my cards yet!
But most of my shopping is done, thankfully.

So I will have more tea I guess.
:)

In my cup this morning Cucumber White from Vulture.
I am very surprised by this one. I only like a couple flavored teas
and I dislike cucumbers. But the cucumber makes this one feel
lively and sweet. A very unique taste. I like it.
Thanks Vulture.

In reflection, I will probably be drinking more tequila as well this holiday. It's my other favorite T beverage. I love a nice stone ground anejo.

What holiday stress? My Christmas shopping was completely finished in less than one day. I bought everything online!

Now I'm busy looking at stuff for me again. :D

I'm just finishing off a cup of Adagio's Coconut-flavoured Black, with a shot of milk to deal with the astringency.
I believe drinking tea makes me a better artist. But hey, I also believe I'm completely sane.

I will try to drink more tea. And do some extra shopping. 8) Case and point, I went from being virtually sencha-less yesterday to receiving 3 orders and am now knee deep in the good stuff.

Started the day with some Fukamushi Maki that arrived yesterday from Den's I need to work on the parameters a bit before I share this in a tasting. Sweetie approved, Koi and Gandalf were apathetic.

Not Holiday stress, I'm just a stressed individual overall. So I just drink tea to alleviate it. But am I more stressed this Holiday season, yes. So I drink more tea

Finally got a cup in after a long conference - drinking Den's sencha extra green.

I'll drink more tea, but it has less to do with stress than with the temperature. Tea keeps me warm!

Feeling quite sore after a tiny bit of shoveling, ugh. Wuyi Amber to the rescue.
