Almost all my serious shopping is done online - primarily 'cause it offers a lot more consumer variety than my town's stores can, but also because it's less hassle than traipsing around in wintertime.
But I had to lower my score due to stocking-stuffer needs

Time to have some gyokuro to end the afternoon.
Uji Gyokuro Gyoku-Hou (sent by Chip) is on the menu.

I would say over 70% of my shopping was done online. I had a few random things that I got at stores in town, but they were mostly things that I knew I could get for better prices than online, like wine, a snow brush, or a Hallmark ornament.
Today, I am drinking sencha while making Christmas cookies.

The benefits of online shopping always become so clear when I sit down to actually do it. Most everything is cheaper online, you get reviews so you don't buy a lemon, and the number of tools to assist you in finding fluctuating or dropping prices and coupons are more than I can keep track of.

Most of my shopping has been online, but I wish I would have done more because the weather has really gotten in the way of finishing my shopping. Plus the in-store shopping I have done is all stuff that still needs to be mailed, so Santa will be a little bit late this year!
This morning I've only had some iced Ceylon Sonata, but am getting ready to make some cookies and have something else.
Victoria, that's really nice that you are getting a replacement tea tray. It's good to know that quality customer service still exists out there!
Olivierco, I am definitely going to check out that left-handed Kyusu. I'm way too left-handed to try using a right-handed one!
Happy Sunday everyone.

Can't vote on this one. I need a less than 10% option.

My first tea this morning was soooo bad, I hate to tell you what it was. I had been separating out some different kinds of teas and then went back and added more tea to each group, but forgetting which was which - thus ruining a good part of it. Grrrrrrrr. So apparently what I had was an oolong or black mixed with green. It was undrinkable!!
I ended up throwing it out and making a pot of Tao of Tea Bohea.
Yum!

That's what happens when you get organized!

Just kidding ... sorry about your mishap!

Like olivierco, I am not a very seasonal shopper. I've found that I'm better off buying presents when I see something appropriate rather than letting myself get into a festive frenzy in December and buying stuff that no one wants.
Right now I'm drinking a rather puzzling tea: Spring Wonder from Tao of Tea. This is a Darjeeling that is listed on their site under "Indian and Sri Lankan Green Teas," but to me this looks and tastes like a very pleasant normal FF Darjeeling. There doesn't seem to be anything green about it. Is anyone here familiar with Indian green teas? Is this normal, or did ToT misclassify this?

0% online Christmas shopping for me. I only started shopping yesterday.
Kukicha green before breakfast and chai tea later as I watch it snow.

I have been saying this for some time. I know at least several vendors who read TC and have shared TC links with several as well.
Checking in late today. Started the day with Kuradashi Sencha from Hibiki an from Pentox. This is an odd aged sencha. I totaqlly get the aged Gyokuro, but I am finding the aged sencha to be a bit of an enigma. Sweetie drank it anyway, and Gandalf watched and drooled. I guess everyone else was taking cat naps.
Also had Fukamushi Maki from Den's, and am thinking what to have
NEXT!

Odd stuff huh. I'm glad that it turned out not to be just some gimick, but it's an interesting product.

I tend to do most of my shopping online, mainly for the convenience. I'm one of those types to start looking for gifts a month or two ahead of time so I can find something perfect.
Enjoying some Maeda-en Gold Sencha at the moment while watching Frosty the Snowman.
