No, it doesn't cause me stress. I'm one of those who tosses anything that isn't being used. I can't stand clutter, to much stuff causes me stress, so I keep it to a minimum. If I don't like a tea - it's gone! I don't feel bad in the least. Sometimes tea is a gamble anyway - some you love, some grow on you and some you'll never learn to like. I'm that way with everything, my DH has tons more clothes than I do. Why keep things you don't or won't wear?

I had jasmine green this am, I'm off to do some Chinese breakfast tea.

Have a great day all!

My vote was 'I don't think so.' Like several of the posts here this morning, my only stress is having space for storage. I don't like to throw away the tea I don't like, so those tins are in the pantry on a higher shelf.

No tea yet this morning, but I'll probably go with some Nilgiri Glendale Handmade.

For me, there is an inherent stress associated with choices. So, having, at the moment, 19 teas to choose from (I know, that probably seems like a small number to some of you), creates a certain amount of stress. On the other hand, if I had NO teas to choose from, I would be REALLY stressed, and might cry.

Enjoying Yunnan Noir this morning. I really like this one!

Overall I don't think so. But it could be heart breaking to have some good green tea expired. As I started to drink more oolong than green, I actually feel a little safer :P But still, what if I don't finish them before they turn bad...

I wish I could buy tea on my weekly grocery shopping trip, and buy tea in few ounces each time!

Considering the vast majority of what I drink is Japanese greens which I feel have the shortest shelf life once opened, I do stress. I will only have a handful open at a time though, which eliminates the stress completely. :D But then I have a lot of other teas open which is a bit stressful.

Started the day with a new tea, never tried before. Zencha Sencha Ultimate, which is fukamushi, deep steamed. I am reserving judgement on the ultimate moniker, but it was very good. Sweetie seemed to agree. Ceylon has gotten into the TeaTime all of a sudden, Gandalf has been a regular, and Wulong was better late than never.

Another fukamushi, or close to it, Chiran Supreme from O-Cha is currently in my cup. The YM leaf is a stark contrast to The Ultimate.

Nope, no stress.

Good stuff doesn't last long enough to cause stress. Marginal stuff is drinkable and in the rotation. Stuff that doesn't hack it go in the trash at work or the compost pile at home!!

Coffee this morning. I'll probably break out some tea this afternoon.

Having too much tea is one of the few things that doesn't stress me out. Tea is what I use to relax, so having more options just makes it easier to pick out the right tea depending on what I am in the mood for. When it all doesn't fit in my three drawer cart, then I check to see which teas that are in larger tins could fit in smaller tins, switch containers, and everything fits again.

Starting my TeaDay with Yutaka Midori from O-cha because last night, I dreamed about how fantastic it was. It did not let me down when I woke up and made some.

I don't stress over my teas. At this point I have 3 Japanese greens, 3 Chinese greens, and 3 black teas. Doesn't seem like two much; althought the 3/3/3 is a little unintentionally wierd.

Sencha blend to open my eyes this morning. Just finished a glass of Tai Ping Hou Kui from TeaSpring. At first it tasted like a glass of steeped dandelion leaves. Then I realized that it was not the best tea to have after wolfing down some stollen. By the end of the glass my tastebuds had begun to recover. Going for a second steep....

 3/3/3. Sounds like something I would intentionally do.

Yabe Organic Sencha from Japanese Green Tea Shop currently in my cup, I am preparing a tasting with this sencha and I must say, it is very good sencha.

I have calculated that I currently possess no less than 6 kinds of gyokruo. I am not sure if this is troubling or fantastic.

While not stressed, I have various assortments of teabags that have been around a year or longer. I'm concerned about them going stale before I use them up. So I'm on a moratorium of not buying more tea until I reduce the stocks.

No tea stress here. I have plenty of other things in life to stress about. Tea is a soothing, relaxing, self-indulgent pleasure with no negatives. When I felt I was getting overloaded, I gave some tea away, took a bigger variety to my mom's for use there, took some to work, and threw some out that I just didn't care for and didn't feel was fit to pass on to someone else. Easy-peazy.

In my cup now is some Pussimbing Estate FF Darjeeling from Tea Emporium. Very nice but not as good as Castleton Moonlight or Risheehat Flowery.

Well I have right now, not counting samples of course, 9 kinds of gyokuros
three from Ippodo, two from OCha, one from Kaburagien, three from hibiki-an, which means about 15-20 packages in my fridge and two opened.
