Weather is moderate (dry and slightly above seasonal norms) here in the PNW. ENSO dominates our seasonal temp fluctuations. We're just below ENSO neutral, coming out LaNina conditions that dominated late Nov-early Jan weather conditions in the West.

So we already had our dose of frigid Arctic air mass, thank-you-very-much!

Taking a pass on the cold air packet nasty-grams charging into the Midwest and Northeast.

No change in tea drinking habit due to weather.

Malty Assam in my cup at present.

It's noon here now, I've been up since 6:30am and no tea, coffee or caffeine yet. Just got in from hammering shingles down on the roof from the bad winds we got a few days ago. Figured I'd better do it today when it's only about 40 degrees since even South Georgia is looking at temps in the teens the next few mornings...

Fun fun stuff. Somebody enjoy a cup of tea for me today.

Greetings everyone!! :D

This morning, I am enjoying a lovely cup of New Mexico Tea Company's Sencha Green Tea and Cherry Rose. This is definitely a favorite.

I will probably be having more tea, due to this very cold weather...especially if it's cold at work.

Have a great day, everyone!

I don't think that we're going to see any different weather here. Weather report this morning said 70's this week.

This morning: Ippodo Hosen.

Hello, TimeforTea! Welcome back.

Definitely plan of imbibing a little more tea this week, and maybe some more "warmer teas." I am thinking some added black, oolong and pu-erh.

Started the day off with a blend of dribs and drabs of gyokuro, 3 different ones, mostly O-Cha. It came out incredibly amazing! :D SweeTea seemed to like it as much as me, while Gandalf, Wulong, and Pyrit were observers only. :D

Alishan oolong from Adagio was next, still have a few steeps for later, but now I am ready for another tea.

I will definitely NOT be adjusting my tea drinking this week -

No change here, except maybe getting WARMER due to the Santa Ana winds.

No tea yet this morning!

When it's colder, my desire for green and white is lower, and I have more dark oolong and black tea.

Having bai hao oolong now. Every time I have this tea, I admire it so much!
's nothing like it! :D

I can't see me adjusting my tea drinking this week. It's always cold here... :D

Currently enjoying some 2006 Yiwu from the 12 Gentlemen. A warming elixir.

Love it when I get a steal on eBay, like this beautiful lidded cup for 98 cents.
It is beautiful hand painted porcelain from Kyoto, Japan.

Beautiful cup, Victoria!

I was planning on drinking more tea this week any ways, but the weather only gives me another excuse to do so. Starting Wednesday, we aren"t going to get above the single digits for a few days.

Currently, I am enjoying some Shui Xian brewed western style since I was not getting good results in my gaiwan. No matter how fast I poured the water out, the result was bitter. Two teaspoons in a 10oz pot is much more drinkable. I am also enjoying the sleeping dog curled up on my lap. He's like a non-purring cat, very cuddly.

What a great cup! Would you be willing to share the seller link from eBay? I love blue/white combos.

I won't be changing my tea drinking this week, I think it's going to be unseasonably warm here.

This morning I had some Irish Breakfast at home, at work two steeps of Golden Monkey.

Yes, Chip..

I am very interested to find out which tea would warm up my body best, to endure this crazy Beijing windy winter. :)
