I think I have given back. I've offered some help with brewing (though I acknowledge there are others with more skill in that area than me) and I've shared teas, etc. Though I know I receive more help than I give! :)

EG Bravo for me this morning. I'm grumpy. Kitty is still bleeding, my head is stuffy and people keep moving stuff on my desk. But on the plus side, I'm wearing cute shoes today so it can't be all bad, right?

Okay, I'm not quite that shallow. But you gotta look on the bright side and currently my shoes are it.

The forum has helped me tremendously, and I try to help out here where I reasonably can.

Everyone here is so helpful, and I try to give helpful suggestions when I can.

One of the many great things about TeaChat is that there is so much give-and-take and everyone is treated pretty equally, whether they are a newbie or an old pro.

This morning I'm enjoying some Tao of Tea Nilgiri Blue, courtesy of the ever giving and helpful Victoria.

I voted for I would like to help because I honestly would. But most of the time I still feel like too much of a noob to offer advice to someone who is just starting out. My teaware collection is slowly growing, so perhaps I will get to that point some day.

Awh I hope kitty gets better soon. Lol when I read that I was like, wait realllyyy? Then I read the last part.

This morning: Ippodo Hosen. So good. I'm probably going to keep this stuff around quite a bit now.

I get a lot of help but I also help as soon as I can.

I'm drinking Tie Luohan atm after some sessions of Houjicha, Yerba Mate and Silvertip Oolong. Listening to Talking Heads and preparing to study a bit more. Sitting with a home exam and have so much reading to do for it.

Auggy, how is your Kitty? Have I missed something?

I try to give back where I can. I love sharing tea samples with people and always get excited when I find a thread with a question that I can actually answer.

Auggy : I hope the kitty feels better and your day improves! Congrats on the cute shoes too!

Today, I am continuing to steep the Aged Nan Tou from yesterday. Thanks again, everyone, for all the congratulatory wishes for passing my exam.

Either I am helping others, or I am just talking too much. The forum has helped me even though I came here as a vet, sort of, but certainly not an expert.

I remember being a well-meaning newbie to the forum and trying to "enlighten" other TeaChatters in the non use of sugar with their tea. Man, did I hear it from the "sweeteners." Come to think of it, I almost left TeaChat with my tail between my legs. I learned a lesson that day, Phyll gave me a quote he borrowed from his wine tastings, "like what you drink, and drink what you like." That stuck with me. Anyway, a little off topic.

Started the day with Zuiko from Den's, a classy asamushi sencha. SweeTea slurped it up while TEAh was the only observer today. Catnaps seemed more appropriate on a cold Winter's day.

I tried Gyokuro Kame from O-Cha again today, WOW. I was blown away. Really delicious gyokuro.

Currently, Golden Monkey from our host, a fave black of mine.

I try to give back as much as I take. This is a nice community and a very helpful and knowledgeable forum.

Mem Imports Jade Oolong in my cup this morning.

I don't give back remotely as much as I receive on TeaChat. Time for a change, perhaps

I've only been here a few days so right now I'm the newbie asking for help.
But I hope and plan to give back as soon as I am confident in my knowledge so I don't steer others wrong.

MateVana before work. Need the stimulant.

It seems almost impossible to me to participate here without offering advice in the process of responding to others.

I'm pretty new here and only know how to boil water properly. :D (At least, I think I'm going that correctly.) But, given the opportunity, I would gladly share if I had the knowledge.
