I chose 'other' because I can't, as a general rule, consume caffeine late in the day. So the end of my tea day is only a few hours after the beginning.
But on the exceptional days, there's no rhyme or reason, just like the beginning.

Lately, the majority opinion seems to be moving toward "simpler is better" for aging pu. See HERE.Drax wrote: still debating whether or not I'm going to be serious about this in the long term to warrant a dedicated "pumidor."

so it can vary with any tea that I choose to have.
For this white frosty Monday, I'm having my Alishan from Adagio. Brrr....

After AliShan from Adagio, I think I will move onto oolong #40 also from Adagio, this is one of my faves from them! Very smooth and aromatic

Everyone have a FAB TeaDay

I tend to go with what ever soggy leaves I have left over from brewing earlier in the day or something low in caffeine. Or whatever I am in the mood for. I especially enjoy having the later steeps of a sencha or an oolong later at night.
This morning, I am having the later steeps of some Big Red Robe oolong that I started after dinner last night.

No rhyme or reason to any tea, any time of day. I have grown fairly immune to the caffeine effect, so I can and do drink tea any time of day, right up til I go to sleep. The exception is, I can't drink gyokuro
or the higher quality senchas too close to bedtime... they tend to affect me more. Many times, though, what I have at the end of the day is what Chip calls "SLT"... soggy leaf tea... a final infusion of whatever used leaves are still lingering in a pot.
Yesterday was not NEARLY enough tea as I was stranded at the hospital alllll day. I actually had some teabags with me that are not half bad for bags... some Bigelow Constant Comment and also some Bigelow Chinese Oolong... forgot to bring any Tazo China Green Tips. So, I had tea, but not much, and not outstanding... decently serviceable.
Started off this morning with Nepal FF from Adagio again... yummmm. Now I'm having one of my recent favorite flavored blends from Adagio called "Tequila Sunrise" ... a blend of white peony, white tropics, and blood orange. It makes a light, aromatic, slightly tart and sweet brew... and the blood orange gives it the softest pink hue... so pretty in my glass.
Have a glorious Tea Day.

I would venture to guess that Cloud knows better than shaving forum, but its probably just me. Nada tells me some friends in the UK have dead tea on their hands due to low humidity. I hereby object to the majority opinion.Salsero wrote:Lately, the majority opinion seems to be moving toward "simpler is better" for aging pu. I guess you green tea people have fewer opened than us oolongandblack drinkers?
