I am thinking 4-6 new tea vendors for me, but that will likely be a little higher, so I will vote 7-10. How can there still be vendors to try? Will it never end? Part of me hopes not, but part of me looks for a more finite TeaWorld, not happening. And always new vendors popping up on the pages of TeaChat.

Started the TeaDay with something special. Gykuro Kame from O-Cha. I now have 2 fave gyokuro, this is one. The first steep was soooo good. SweeTea seemed to agree, fortunately Pyrit who has been showing some tea interest lately just watched passively, Gandalf sensed magic in the room, Wulong ... well, with a name like that ...

I rarely post a recommendation unless asked, but I do highly recommend to anyone interested in trying a realllly good gyokuro, give this one a try. Nice thing, it is available in 50 gram bags so it won't mean cashing in your 401K.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Concidering the LA trip, I will be purchasing from at least 4 new places this year. But guessing I will be ordering from a lot more places.

Been enjoying a fired TKY all night/morning. (go multiple steeps)

Have a nice day everyone!

Don't have any idea how many "new" vendors I'll try - but I'm sure there will be at least 2 or 3 throughout the year.

Margaret's Hope estate darjeeling in the mug this morning. I fighting a serious cold today and will probably head for the house when we get fully manned up for the day! :D

When shincha season comes I will most likely try any recommended vendors. Who knows how many that will be. I hope a lot! :D

Sencha this am. Moving onto matcha before I head out the door to work.

Happy tea day!

Chose 2-3 because I know there will always be a new vendor here and there that will pop up for me to try- I'll stick to the 2-3 still.

Having mateVana now to wake me up and help me tackle this tornado on my desk here.

I went with 4 - 6, but then that probably throws my answer from yesterday off and it should be 7 - 10, but oh well. As for why, just hearing things from folks on the board and wanting to try more/different teas! :)

Creamsicle tea for me today. I don't have too much work to do today. In fact, I'm already bored. That always gets me in trouble because I end up shopping online.

Maybe 4-6 new vendors, depending on what I am looking for, recommendations from people, and what tastes good from the box pass.

This morning, I am sampling Iron Goddess King from New Century Tea Gallery from the oolong box brewed in the the infuser thingy that I discover in there. The tea is fantastic!

I'll take a guess at 2-3 new vendors...most likely for greens and oolongs!

I'll probably try a couple of new vendors. There's always lots to learn and new teas to try. 8)
Today so far drinking only Adagio's Jasmine Pearls. Like I've said before: "beauty in a cup".

This is the first one of the samples that I've tried that I will order again.
It is very good. I'd also recommend their White Symphony, which is slightly more "substantial".

I said 7-10, because I'm still learning and trying out new teas. But that number may go up substantially considering I live right outside of nyc. 8)

Birthday Tea in my cup right now. It's the first tea I actually used milk in but it really brings out the creaminess.

Ippodo Hosen again today. MMmmmmm

The one downside of this tea I've noticed is that it opens up very quickly making it mostly a one shot tea. It's absolutely delicious though so it's fine.

Uji Miyabe is exquisite.

My kyusu and sencha just arrived. My yunomi arrived yesterday but no-one was home to sign for them so they're waiting at the post office, consequently I used a thin porcelain gong fu cup, a porcelain tasting cup, and a porcelain-lined mug. The tea tasted different in each of the cups. It was the most refined in the gong fu cup, it was fuller and brothy in the tasting cup, and it was vegetal and fishy in the mug.

My mouth feels happy!
