That really is a stunning pot, Brandon. Congratulations!
I'm going to be in New York at the start of April and, while The Tea Gallery is definitely on the itinerary, I'm not sure my wallet can take it. I would have been
very tempted by that pot were it still to have been there... (so thank you for buying it - I can see why you couldn't resist!)
Now onto the first few infusions of a free sample I got from Nada (thank you!) a few months ago - some 60s loose leaf sheng. I know no more about it than that.

Black tea, of course. I am really having fun with my Adagio samples.
No Superbowl here. Borrrrrring...
Yunnan Jig in the little pot this morning. Yum.
Although my neighbors are all barbarians,
And you, you are a thousand miles away,
There are always two cups on my table.

Ujibashi san no ma sencha. I still prefer Kaboku sencha, but it is a nice alternative.

Green, green, green...specifically my favorite this month Yame Gyokuro (my first Gyokuro!). The only reason I have not had some every afternoon this month is because it didn't arrive until about the 8th!
This morning...more Thai Blend and homemade biscotti!
Happy sipping,
Dreamer

I don't care for football, but instead I will be attending a concert. Japanese greens for the win! That Yabe sencha from Japanese green tea shop was really good...

Not a football fan, so I'm planning on doing some shopping while all the stores are empty.
I think my top tea for January was a Rou Gui oolong from the Tea Gallery.

Hmm, I'm very curious to hear how really aged sheng tastes...! The oldest I've been able to taste is 1998, which I found to be not that different from some 2007s..., sadly.

Super What???
My husband might watch the Super Bowl, but I don't have any interest in it. There will definitely be tea today, though!
Currently I'm enjoying a cup of Nilgiri Glendale Handmade, after a few sips of a horrible cup of Nilgiri Kairbetta. I finally put that one into my "yuck" box.

Was that the Stash stuff? I just threw out one of mine yesterday. I could not in good conscious pass it on. More to follow.

Green for me with the Yutaka Midori though a few oolongs from the box pass ranked really high as well, namely the Iron Goddess King from New Century Tea Gallery and the Goddess of Mercy TGY from Tao of Tea. After realizing that NCTG had a website, the Iron Goddess King is definitely getting ordered at some point in the near future.
As for the Superbowl, I don't really have any interest in watching it. I had no idea who was even playing in it until the cashier at the grocery store asked who we were cheering for.
My current tea is Adagio's chestnut.
