Hmm I have no idea...

Drinking what appears to be Tencha from Hibiki-An... not bad! Definitely tastes like matcha that happens to have the consistency of sencha. Decent quality stuff, too. Who sent it again? Thanx!

I enjoy the appearance of herbals and tisanes...it's facinating to look at the buds, rinds, etc.

Margaret's Hope darjeeling today.

Me either but fortunately once I'm here I do love it. Just having a hard time finding the time and teaware to enjoy tea- plus flu season started and I need to keep my things cootie free.

I like Chinese green tea leaves the best.
White and yellow tea leaves are very handsome, in my eyes maybe even more good looking than green. But for white and yellow, only top notch and expensive leaves are pretty, and I don't drink them very often. :P

Ditto.

Creamsicle this morning. But still dreaming about the sencha I had last night. I have been on an oolong kick since I finally got my Teacuppa order in and it seems my body has decided I haven't had enough Japanese green. Which is sad because I have only a tiny bit left - maybe 2 sessions. Time for a new tea order.

It is hubby's bday today. I'm no longer married to a younger man. Go me.

Oolongs for me too, especially ancient dancong leaves that have been, at most, lightly roasted.

1st grade TGY from Upton in my first cup today, followed by a Gyokuro from Teavana. I foretell some yame gyokuro and yutakamidori in my future!

Hahah he just hit that miraculous threshold?

I voted oolong as well. It's an interesting tea to see floating/expanding.

This morning's cup: Uji Sencha 2008 from Lupicia.

Definitely Oolongs. I absolutely love how the leaves expand from little balls to full leaves.

I have a cup of Chestnut tea at the moment.

Yep, love gyokuro leaves in my rice ... had it with pasta the other day as well.

Oolong is romping in the soggy leaf contest. Cannot argue much there. I also like whites and certain Chinese greens. I need a 3 sided coin to decide.

Despite a good TeaDay so far, if I laid down I would be asleep in 30 seconds. Started the day with the ever fantastic Yutaka Midori from O-Cha. SweeTea seems to like it as well. Honi Belle made a pretty rare appearance to the tea table.

Finishing Adagio Silver Needle currently. I am impressed how good their SN is this year.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
