Hard to tell, probably 60/40, I have way too much tea on hand.
In my cup this morning Nilgiri Blue.
Have a nice day everyone!

I definitely have more teaware than actual tea right now, especially with the influx of Grandma's cup collection and other pieces that we found in the basement a while ago. My tea takes up two drawers in a three drawer cart with a few tins scattered around elsewhere. I have at least two pieces of tea ware in the bottom drawer, some on top of the cart, the more frequently used pieces that sit by my zoji, a few being stored in boxes, and other pieces that stay in my room.
Today, I have Yutaka Midori in my cup.

Awesome! I'm a recent facebook convert/addict. I'll see you on there.TaiPing Hou Kui wrote: *PS For those of you who havent heard......I started a group on Facebook for those of us teachatters who have a facebook account.

Me, 90/10 because of all the pu-erh.
In today's cup, finishing off yesterday's Tie Luo Han, a Wuyi oolong purchased at Red Blossom on a recent trip San Francisco. Depending how long this one lasts, maybe a pot of pu-erh afterwards!

I voted 50/50. Since I just started my tea journey 2 months ago I've only acquired around 25 different teas, including samples. But I've made sure to get appropriate teaware to brew each one. So for now it's balanced. I'm sure I'll have more tea than ware soon since I'm pretty much set with wares.
Although I'm looking to delve into the world of matcha.. so, more teaware for that as well. Does it ever end?
Chiran sencha right now.

I'm about 40 tea / 60 teaware, which seems a good balance, as I have more tea than I can drink at the moment.
Having some 2006 Menghai V93 sheng at the moment - wow, what a great tea! Have to get a few more of these tuos.
Let's hope not!danibob wrote:Although I'm looking to delve into the world of matcha.. so, more teaware for that as well. Does it ever end?

This is my 10th anniversary year for drinking tea, seems I have accumulated teaware from every phase I have gone through along the way. So, I am in the minority by far. 30:70 I would say.
Busy TeaDay but a good one. Yutaka Midori from O-Cha to start, SweeTea was there as usual. Next up, Adagio Sencha Premier, and most recently A Korean green from Hankook. The Korean green smelled the like guricha in my preheated pot and resembled it brewed as well, but a bit more astringent. I will adjust the time down next time.
Thinking ... time for a "short session?"

Congratulations, Chip! Isn't the 10th anniversary something like bronze? Maybe you could get a bronze teapot to commemorate...?Chip wrote:This is my 10th anniversary year for drinking tea, seems I have accumulated teaware from every phase I have gone through along the way.
