I voted greens. I realized that I have been drinking so much oolong lately that I am neglecting the rest of what the tea world has to offer. Had a cup of sencha from a tea shop by my job, it was delicious.

Oolongs for me. However, Japanese greens, followed by pu-erh, and then Chinese yellows and whites will be my next largest purchases. If I buy any black tea it will be Jing's exceptional Hao Ya `A' -- blacks just don't do it for me.

Japanese greens are like red squirrels -- once they move in they crowd out the other `green' squirrels.

Mem Imports Wuyi Oolong this morning. Jing's aged Xi Ping TGY will be next.

Ohhh, I don't know if I'll be buying anything but if I do, it will probably be a black or oolong.

Earlier this morning I had some "Formosa Choicest" Oolong from TeaSource. Now I'm following Salsero's lead and enjoying some Fujian Baroque.

I'm most looking forward to the Chinese green harvest, but since I will mostly buy oolongs as I am exploring them I voted for Oolong. I'm especially awaiting the taiwanese harvest.

Just finished a gong fu session of Benshan.

I will certainly and predictably be looking at SHINCHA from Japan first and for most. I keep saying I am going to re diversify by incorporating greener oolong, Chinese green, and actual green Taiwan ... oh, and some whites! But as brlarson mentioned, Japanese greens seem to dominate the scene, they are what I crave the most, by leaps and bounds.

Began this TeaDay with Fukamushi organic from Yuuki-Cha. This is Yutaka Midori leaf, but it is very different from conventional YM. I am still working on the brewing parameters since it seems organics makes one rethink brewing. SweeTea was enjoying it, Wulong made a rare appearance today.

O-Cha Fukamushi currently in my cup.

I'll be looking for greens & whites. Since I'm new at this, my strategy will be to read TeaChat, see what everyone else is excited about, and order that.

Ding Gu Da Fang in my cup this morning.

Sincha, shincha, sincha...and then I must have some oolong, too.

This morning...a sweet foamy bowl of matcha. Later at work my tea buddy brewed up some Golden Monkey...it was very tasty. This afternoon, I'm thinking YM.

Planning next tea and tea ware purchases is so much fun!

Later,
Dreamer

Still drinking black but now it is shu puerh in my cup ... and a cheap, hearty Golden Sail one at that! Must switch to match soon to balance out all this darkness in my TeaDay!

Hmm I want to open my pack of that up. I just have too many open senchas at the moment though.
