I tend to use my Bodum pavina glass, when I don't feel like deciding between a whole bunch in the cabinets.

This morning, finishing off the fukamushi sencha special I have left. Gosh I'm tired...
Tea tea tea... I like tea...

Tough question actually. Like most responders, it will depend a bit on what I am drinking. I see a Hagi becoming my go to cup ... but mostly for greens which is what I drink the most of anyway. But then there are a few very inexpensive Chinatown cups that see the most action because they are most approachable and I have no fear of breaking and are of perfect sized and shape.

Started the TeaDay with Sencha Premier from Adagio in a new Hagi set. SweeTea enjoyed it, but Lil Bit and Koi seemed a bit jealous of the new teaware, prefering to step on or push out the way instead.

Currently enjoying homemade genmai/buckwheat/and some heavily roasted Korean grain from Hankook. Very nice.

My go to cup is the one in my avitar. If I want more than 100ml's of tea then I use my favorite coffee mug that I got from Dave & Busters.

Sencha in my cup this morning and monk blend tonight

I voted "Maybe" because I do have a favorite for work, but at home I guess my favorite rotates a lot, since I have many favorites.

Here is my current favorite work cup - by Shiho from Artistic Nippon:

In my cup this morning Da Wu Ye from Tea Habitat.

Have a nice day everyone!

Susana is our teachatter Susana, dan cong and silver needle lover as far as I know :D

The mug, I got it several years ago from a grocery kind of supermarket, $1 for 2 or 3, but I don't see them any more these days :( It's just regular glasses and I don't really know how safe they are dealing with temperature :P I have a similar but fatter one. I desperately picked it up from a "free" pile at a yard sale, in fear that the supermarket may never have them again.

I don't really have a go to cup. I keep one at work that I use mostly because it's the only teacup I keep at work, so that's not so much a goto as much as only.

At home that's a whole different story. I pull cups based upon a whim.

I don't really have a go to cup. I have semi-matching cups that are designated for each brewing setup I have. I love them all since I'm selective about what I buy.

I have a plain white mug I use 99% of the time. Of course, I drink most of my tea a work and it's the "nicest" of the mugs I have available. :D

Margaret's Hope darjeeling today.

Bought as a pair for a really great price, these Deishi Hagi are quickly becoming "go to" cups for me for Japanese tea. Each will hold an entire normal steep if I want it to, such as right now it is filled with 180 ml of Kabusecha from Yuuki-Cha. They hold twice as much as my cheap porcelain 90 ml cups.

I call one dark chocolate and one milk, no idea why ...

I haven't quite gotten around to buying "proper" teacups yet. Right now, the cup I use almost constantly is a just a basic cream colored Starbucks coffee mug from the family's stash. I don't have a special attachment to it or anything. It just usually happens to be in the strainer or at the front of the cupboard where I can get to it easily.

Currently in my cup: chocolate masala chai. More of a dessert than tea, I suppose.

I tend to use a baby blue mug most...it's around 250ml and has a narrow base and wide lip that makes it perfect for sipping tea. I go for it over fancier cups when I'm drinking tea by myself since it is fairly neutral and gives me a nice satisfying amount of tea in one go.

Just had a cup of jasmine dragon tears from Fujian. :D

Like others it really depends on what I'm drinking. If I'm doing my black teas in the ingenuiTEA, I generally just use a clear glass double walled mug! I do have a cup I've been using quite frequently when gongfu-ing or sencha now!

That is a picture I took this morning during my first sencha session! :D That is also the cup I was talking about! I love it!

My first cup of sencha! It's the Sencha Fuka-Midori from Den's! Hope everyone had a great day! :)
