Thanks to Adagios tea-timer executable, I tend not to botch brewing as often when I get caught up while working/playing.
Last of my Assam estate tea. Darn!

It is amazing how even using things like scales and thermometers, one can still mess up brewing, but I do. Not too often and it is often a subtlety that is missing. Sometimes I will fall out of the groove with a particular tea that I had liked and it takes a while to figure out the obvious error that I happen to be repeating over and over.
Started the Teaday with a new matcha, Organic Uji Matcha Tenkei Tori from Yuuki-Cha. Very unique, quite unlike other matcha I have had of late. SweeTea enjoyed it while Pyrit just likes to watch matcha being made.
Next up, O-Cha Fukamushi Supreme. Today is shaping up to be a very great TeaDay indeed ...

blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
At work I'll often forget to remove the infuser from the cup. With first infusions of estate pekoe and darjeeling the results can be pretty "stout"!
China green and whites are a bit more forgiving. I always do multiple steeps and the 2nd-4th or 5th are a lot more forgiving.
At home I tend to pay more attention since I have a timer.
Margaret's Hope darjeeling today.

Yikes, hope you don't get sick again. Get better!auggy wrote:Thanks. Didn't react well to some medication I took last night so I'm stuck waiting for it to get out of my system. In other words - fortunately I'm not actually sick (again) so it's not horrible!Pentox wrote:Awh, hope you feel better!auggy wrote: No tea this morning. Not feeling good.
Having alishan now. I'm craving a peach oolong though... hm.

For me I feel like I could always do better so it happens all the time.

Well maybe some tea would help flush it out of your system!auggy wrote:Thanks. Didn't react well to some medication I took last night so I'm stuck waiting for it to get out of my system. I still mess up from time to time. Particularly sencha and the occasional oolong. I never know how a new oolong is supposed to taste so I don't really know if I'm messing up or not. I guess if it's not bitter I succeeded somewhat.
Started the day with the oh so yummy birthday tea, and now I'm on my second bowl of matcha. I need all the energy I can get for work soon. (I work with kids)

In my cup this afternoon a nice Taiwan oolong from Hankook Teas.
Just now getting to a sample I have, really a nice surprise, very enjoyable.
