2 Homes:

Winter where I am now, in Delray, FL or the vicinity. Maybe a nice lil shack on the beach-

And Summer/Fall in Manhattan, probably the Residences above the Mandarin Oriental at Columbus Circle:

Then maybe a cool downtown apartment as well, East Village, SoHo, or West Village, and perhaps a place in London, I love British Accents...

I voted for shore, but I have a specific shore in mind.

An ideal location for my dream house would be high in the hills facing the Pamet River estuary in Truro, MA. It's on the Bay side of the Cape, so there is protection from the weather, and most of the area offers views of Cape Cod Bay. The National Seahore (Cape Cod Seashore National Park) and open ocean are less than three miles away on the other side of the Cape. Truro is private so only residents and folks who are renting cottages can use the beaches so there is enough room for everyone to have private space for their beach towels with no-one in front of you or behind you. And of course it's near Wellfleet and Provincetown, both are cultural centers in their own way. And there is wildlife galore, bird life and sea life. Last Spring I saw six fin whales trolling for food 300 feet off of Race Point Beach plus seals dolphins and hundreds of gannets and other pelagic species all visible with bare eyes.

You get the idea.

I am finishing a bag of TGY from Upton this morning.

I felt the same way.

I voted mountains, specifically a secluded mountain to get away. A place others didn't know about so I could grow a beautiful garden with lots of bonsai without fear that someone would steal any the moment I turn around . Personnally have never had it happen but many others have.

Then If I wanted to enjoy city living(don't think so) then I could have a friends stay there to take care of things with there family to enjoy while I take some time somewhere else.

A little off topic but the weather has been great around ohio this weekend 70 yesterday and it feels the same today. Spring is coming!
Have a great teaday everyone!

Ooooooh more dreaming...I picked shore...somewhere town-ish where I can walk or ride my bike to run errands and where people know your name...yeah, somewhere like Sanibel!

Had a walk with the puppers this morning, before a quick noisy rain.
Matcha in my hagi bowl now...mmmm.
Sun has popped back out...I'm predicting there is iced tea
in my immediate future!

Happy Sunday,
Dreamer

Mabe a manison or a log cabin with electricty in the forest. Perhaps a place where It stayed nice and warm but not hot all of the time. But I like where I am now to. I had a cup of teavana silverneedle this morning.

the mountains in Asia in a small traditional eastern-style house (i'm thinking Japanese) with an authentic, wabi-sabi tearoom, near rugged nature (maybe a forest of bamboo). as natural and green and east as possible.

I'm afraid for me it would have to be either a fantasy location or a combination of places. But at this point, any place with an internet connection looks good!

That picture got me seriously craving SN after a couple of weeks of others teas. But it's too late in the evening to have anything caffeine-related. I guess it's SN tomorrow :)

Just had some Yutaka Midori earlier in the afternoon and last season's Meng Ding Huang Ya is in my cup right now.

I have found that both the YM and also the Meng Ding taste much better when drunk out of porcelain gong fu cups than they do out of my yunomi. I also found that the yame gyokuro picked up the tastes of YM and miyabe when I brewed it in my kyusu. So, I've started brewing the gyo in a gaiwan and drinking it from gong fu cups. So, backwards drinking am I, yunomi from oolong and cups gong-fu from gyokuro yame.

Manhattan of course. I think I stressed that many times.

Very nice teaday.. started with a flavored black tea with breakfast, then a bowl of matcha, and now I'm working my way through a session of Yutaka Midori. Maybe a nice oolong tonight to finish off.

Wow, where is hard for me to say. The weather here in So Ca is hard to beat except for Hawaii. I think I might get very homesick living in another country although I have considered it. I really don't know.

Started the day with Bohea, behind in brewing ... need to brew now.

I am wondering if everyone is ut of sync today with the time change, especially after losing an hour sleep last night. But the entire forum seems to be taking a nap.

Where, tough call indeed. I have considered Asia as enticing for so many years, ever since I was a teenager. But I don't think I am very committed to that dream. Plus there are a lot of advantages to living in the USA. I am however thinking warmer...

Started the TeaDay with Fukamushi Supreme from O-Cha which was very good as usual, a good wake up tea. SweeTea made sure to get her share while Pyrit was again a close observer.

Next up, Adagio sencha Premier which is always good. The 5 ounce tins seems bottomless.

And currently Kagoshima sencha from Yuuki-Cha, a fitting conclusion to a great TeaDay, which could have used maybe one more tea ...
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Europe definitely, I don't know where in Europe though, but I have been to England, France, Italy and Greece and I have loved them all.
