Love the photo today, Sal, especially the natural lighting.

My eyes are light hazel green. When I'm tired they are red. Ha! Need some matcha before I attempt to make any "funny" jokes and injure myself.

I broke the lid to my tokoname last night putting it away

I thought I might have read somewhere here about a way to repair the lid without using intensely chemically glue (not sure I want that flavoring my tea!)??? :?: I will order another and I did get that $10 green starter pot from Dens to hold me but I loved loved my first kyusu. And I was using the Den's pot for the sakura sencha.
...and that makes 3, let's hope the threat of more lid breakage is now broken ... er,past. Sorry to hear about the lid, Cheryl. I feel like I was a Godfather to it.

A late start today to the TeaDay, I need to brew.

Oh, green eyes here ... and green tea of course. Coinkidinky? I don't know, but have always liked green anything.

My eyes are blue, leaning toward gray.

This morning I'm having a blend of Ceylon Sonata and Assam Melody.

There has been quite a streak on broken teapot lids lately. Maybe someone needs to make tiny little bungie cords for us butterfingers to use on our pots!

My eyes are also blue with grayish flecks. And there's Keemun in my cup.

My eyes are brown AND green but I voted brown. My irises have two rings of colour, are are more or less one or the other depending on the amount of light (size of my pupil/hitomi).

This morning I had the last of my Uji Manten matcha  There wasn't even enough for thick tea so I had usucha with it. Must reorder... I also had some Kotobuki, also thin and also little left. Kotobuki can be used thick so I am not completely out of thick tea. I'll probably refill my Pine Arabesque natsume with Matsuda's Uji Zen matcha and keep the remaining Kotobuki in reserve for thick tea until I can order some more Manten.

Last of 6 infusions of Gyokuro Fugenji-Midori ending and trying to think what to make next. Mmmm, maybe Oriental Beauty.

My eyes are brown but in the right light they can look hazel. I don't think there's any correlation to the type of tea I like.

No tea yet, I just got out of the ER with stitches in my foot :( Long story, but now I can't work. At least tomorrow I can have tea all day.

How about some Iron Goddess King? I finished the matcha and as I leapt into my second choice of the morning, the sun broke through the pouring down rain for just a moment, reminding us all that, yes, spring IS coming.

Wow, GGU, cool photo! A filter or that weird thing you have been playing with? I love the sharp off-center bunnies and the out of focus everything else ... not to mention the stars, of course.

Lensbaby (the weird thing,) plus a shaped aperture ring.

Owwwww! Hope you feel better soon! At least you're looking at the up-side of a day of tea and rest. :)

A very un-tealike muddled grey for me. But surely grey tea would be just delish, if such a thing existed? Obviously a great business opportunity for enterprising tea growers.

Non-grey White Symphony today, many hours ago.

Thanks! It'll be about 2 weeks until the stitches come out. First time I ever had to get them and let's just say I was NOT a "trooper".

Managed to make some Yutaka Midori. Very comforting. I can't wait to order the shincha version.

I hope no teaware (teapot lids especially) were hurt in this incident! JK, I hope it is nothing too serious and the stitches were all the doctor ordered! 8) Although I would have prescribed Yutaka Midori as well, good call!!!

Began the TeaDay with Sencha Premier in a beautiful Momiji kyusu, lovely start to the TeaDay and actually pretty brave considering the broken lid streak going on here on TD. Perhaps we should all just use teaware we hope will get broken.

Anyway, very nice session. Next up, Tori matcha from Yuuki-Cha, very good! SweeTea has been getting some excellent bonus tea this weekend! Precious was present as well and Pyrit made a late show. :D
