I usually go something like this when I'm brewing a tea for the first time: 30 20 30 40. I always make the second shorter than the first and then the third longer than the second. Of course if I find this is to little or to much I will adjust it to get a better result. I never rinse, except puerh. I use 95 for all gong fu and have never had problems with green oolong. For rolled tea, only use a little leaves. They unfurl!!

You should try also the rule of tang, fill the teapot till the leaves cover the bottom, around 1/4 of it`s volume, and infuse 60, 20, 45, 1.20, 2.20.
