Silver Needle for me! Very nice photos everyone! Sal, wisterias are among my favorite flowers – love the shape and color! I'm going to brew some Darjeeling #22 in a minute.

P.S.

There is a tea giveaway on my daughters blog moodsandappetites dot com and since I, in fact, will be the one mailing it to the winner I'm letting you know :)

Pretty shamrock cup, Victoria!

Yunnan Gold this morning in my cup, so that got my vote. Although I also like Irish Breakfast and Golden Monkey!

I'm off to make Irish soda bread for breakfast...
Although my neighbors are all barbarians,
And you, you are a thousand miles away,
There are always two cups on my table.

I picked Silver Needles, but all the choices would be fine with me.

Margaret's Hope in the mug this a.m.

Sal, AWESOME photo today!

I would vote for Golden Monkey and of course Irish Breakfast. I kinda forgot that today was St. Patrick's Day, though, and didn't have either of these this morning! I had Nilgiri Glendale Handmade. There are probably some Irishmen in India, don't you think?

Magic matcha sounds good.

Back to my regular matcha today after just Kotobuki for a while and I forgot to lessen the amount of tea/increase the amount of water/increase the temperature. Not so good with a new package of Matcha Zen this morning :-( A bit bitter compared to what I like. All this good tea is really spoiling me... but I will experiment with this one again as I usually find it decent enough. Perhaps I need to put my winter bowl away already? I was going to wait a couple more days before boxing up my winter hagiware bowl for the season but it may be time already.

Hehe, today's poll made me laugh. GREEN highest mt. oolong for me, please. Things have been rough so the mild taste has been good to me lately.

EG in my cup this morning.

Oh, and the laptop drama continues. They replaced the video card and motherboard a bit ago and it took care of the video problem but was still randomly crashing. So they replaced the memory and the motherboard and it stopped crashing, but then my right ctrl key stopped working. So they sent out a new keyboard but it still doesn't work. So they are going to replace the motherboard. Again. One day my laptop might be happy again. On the plus side, the tech guy is nice. Which is good because we've seen him a lot lately.

Golden Monkey is a black Chinese tea, Silver Needles is a Chinese white tea. You can see examples of each on the Adagio site. They are both worth exploring when trying blacks and whites!

I could say Shincha 6 weeks early, but then what would I do with all the sencha I already have? Soooo, a big black pot filled with many wooden boxes of beautifal Japanese teaware including Hagi, Tetsubin, Chawan, Natsume (those are all plural, btw 8) to name a few.

Began the TeaDay with Kabuse from Yuuki-Cha in a momiji (Japanese Maple) decorated kyusu. The buds on the Japanese Maples are swelling up, it won't be too long til they pop. The tea was delicious as SweeTea can attest. Pyrit, Wulong, Ceylon and TEAh visited.

I was going to make green matcha eggs for breakfast, but realized I would have been overly buzzed, maybe later.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Tough choice between high mountain Oolong and Irish Breakfast, but I had to go with Irish Breakfast, a smooth everyday fully-caffeinated cup of satisfaction.

As for something tea-related at the end of the rainbow: new exotic teawares are always welcome, but since we're wishing big here, may I ask for a trip to visit tearooms in the Emerald Isle? There's a touring company that has specialized tours of Castles and Tea Rooms I'm saving for one-of-these-years. (It's actually to Scotland but I figure if the leprechaun gives me a trip to Ireland to enjoy Irish Breakfast tea, I can take another week to go to Scotland :) )

Vanilla Oolong in my cup first this morning. Now in honor of the day, on to Irish Breakfast (with a few rosebuds just for fun).

A trip like that would be a dream come true!

I'm on the St. Patty's Day party wagon now with some GOLDEN Monkey. :)

Lol you should tell them to save themselves the hassle and just send you a new laptop.

I voted for shincha, but the more I think about it I could really go for some good Dan Cong right now. Unfortunately i'm all tapped out.

Lupicia Serene Forest (Yame Sencha blend) this morning. Interesting stuff this Yame sencha.

Hmm, the GOLDen Phoenix DanCong sure seems tempting but as as always I'm going to have to go with the magic shincha sencha. :D

I'll be having some matcha shortly. Followed by some sencha. I'm not Irish but I'll certainly be in the green spirit today!
