I have been looking for some nice cup with a handle to use when I drink black tea, especially since that english china contest, and I just found out that the old porcelain factory Gustavsberg is still producing china, half an hour from where I live. I got some of their classical cups, which they recently started to produce again.

Berså, from the sixties, with my little kyusu.

Spisa Ribb, from the fifties, posing with a tetsubin kettle.
To me, these cups really feel like swedish fifties and sixties! (Well, I wasn't born then, but still.)

Stuff my parents found either in storage in the basement or hiding in the deep recesses of the china cabinet. They figured I would like what they found. Like is an understatement.
Three cups, two bowls, and two spoons, all in blue and white rice porcelain. One of the cups has a slightly smudged paint job and larger rice holes, so it is probably similar to the set, but not part of it. The cups are roughly 100ml.

A set of four yunomi in a peacock pattern. Each holds about 150ml.

A nifty kyusu-like pot that hold about 250ml.

A small handle-less pot that holds about 150 ml. It would probably be very good for brewing gyokuro.

lol, they are actually in the process of cleaning out the basement to find the things that were put away for me for when I move out, which should be in the next couple of months, so there might be room in the house shortly. Sadly, the basement might be cleaned out by then, but there is an elusive pot that my mother thinks exists that goes with the peacock cups that we haven't found yet.Salsero wrote:They're not looking to adopt, by any chance?Cinnamon Kitty wrote: Stuff my parents found either in storage in the basement or hiding in the deep recesses of the china cabinet.
Thank you, I sometimes believe that I am the only one with this passion, the teaware are all authentic, some from japan (Horaido), some from china (hong kong), I have invested a bit in teaware, there was a banko kyusu on the way, but a fire erupted on the airport so after a week or so I`ll post the pictures.
