I'm an Irish vampire from one of the few comics I've read in the past ten years, Preacher, mainly because few people are confident they are pronouncing it correctly.

Today my qimen pots is in use for the first time in ages, yum.

In my cup this morning: Neela from Tao of Tea

I am a "chip off the old block," sharing given and middle names with my father. Chip has always been my nickname. I am much more of a "Chip" than my given name anyway.

Began the TeaDay with Zuiko asamushi from Den's. It came out particularly nice today. SweeTea found it to her liking. TEAh was very present today followed by Pyrit, a pretty quiet TeaTable.

Have a delicious TeaDay everyone!

Obviously, not my real name.

The name did get me in hot water early on, though. It seemed a group of folks took it into their heads that with a name like that and an icon like that (it was a fully clothed fairy in a teacup?!) that I must be here to chat up the boys and then do what with them I haven't the foggiest. OKay, to be fair our little group was a bit raucus (is this the word I should use Chip? )

Anyway, I just wanted a tea related name when I logged in and my minor for my undergrad was Classical Studies and using 'Ateana' didn't really get the pun across.
So, there you have it.

And off topic: Sal, your cups are gorgeous!!!! (can a woman say that to a man? - oh, there I go being raucus again :P)

Mine is my first and middle initials and my last name. Not very creative, but it has been getting used a lot lately.

by Riene » Apr 10th, '09, 10:04

"Riene" is the lead female character in a fantasy story I started writing some years ago. My own name is rather identifiable, so I use her name for all of my online forums, MSN, an email address, etc.

"Rien" is also the French word for "nothing" which I find amusing, since Riene as a person doesn't exist. Or does she? She's been my alter-ego for so long that sometimes I wonder if I'm developing MPD.

Golden Monkey in the mug this morning.
Although my neighbors are all barbarians,
And you, you are a thousand miles away,
There are always two cups on my table.

First name + last initial. I'm way too lazy to come up with a creative username. :)

I'm trying caramel houjicha from Lupicia this morning.

My name followed by the name of the forum, really imaginative!

I am now officially drinking my last steeps of sencha before shincha arrives, hopefully my new matcha set will see me over until then!

Jack :D

My real name is Norwegian and many people are not sure how to pronounce it. I have 2 usernames that I use: jazz88 (after a radio station) spottedSkunk – because it's a small, cute, playful and moderately slender animal but since this is a tea forum the skunk part seemed a bit inappropriate.

Mine is a nickname that evolved from handles on other forums. When I got married, I changed my default handle to reflect the last name change & decided to use something to help me remember my anniversary (Aug3Zimm). Anyway, Aug3Zimm became Auggy and Auggy became a nickname as I met people in person that new me on boards. So now I'm Auggy.

Coconut tea this morning. Waiting for the phone to ring so I can get into a fight. I've picked it, now I just gotta see how they will respond. Whooooo!
