Weekend = more, better.
I drink tea every day, but less when working, just because its hard to slow down long enough to brew. And when I do brew at work, I am less likely to sit down and enjoy it as thoroughly, or finish it while it's still warm. I usually have at least one really full tea-day on the weekends unless I'm traveling. Today might be the day.
Margarets Hope FF Darjeeling in my cup this morning... very nice, but not as good as the Puttabong. Wishing for something greennnnn....

I would say in the last 10 years, it has not made a huge difference. I have always been fortunate to be able to brew comfortably at work. Like Chamekke, I would rarely do a brand new tea at work, however, wanting to try it in more quiet and focused home setting.
Began the TeaDay with Shincha Magokoro YM from Yuuki-Cha. This was very good today. Organic sencha-s can be finicky, but I think I am getting the hang of it. SweeTea approved of my brewing. Pyrit, Wulong were pesty at the TeaTable, while Lil Bit just wanted the entire table to himself.
Currently sipping Mugi minus the cha.
Happy TeaDay, and (love saying this),
stay cool!!!
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

I didn't find an option for "equal quality but more quantity during weekends"
So I chose "more during over weekends, and better"
Tea drinking is a time-consuming event for me, and I don't get much time drinking tea (except when I am allowed to work at home). Weekends are much better, and good thing is, I very often have 3-day weekends

By sitting in peace and doing nothing,
You make your one day worth two days.

I have more time to consider what to choose (from my comparatively miniscule stash of sample tins ) on the weekends. So far - I really like Jasmine 12, and gyokuro - am drinking Dragonwell today - I think I brewed it correctly - but so far- I am not fond of it.
I'll give it a couple of days -
(its not you its me, dear)
Happy weekend all -

Tea is a beverage; consumption quantity/quality depend on many factors that vary temporally over the year. During busy periods, I work 7 days a week, and so tea consumption doesn't vary within the week but can and often does over a month/season. If I am on travel, or working long hours, or living under exceptional circumstances (as now), tea concerns take a back seat in relative importance in my life; I'm content to drink a minimum, usually from a mug and infuser - and be thankful for it.
Sencha this morning.

Omega, we'll wish for YOUR weekend to be one day longer! (as well as our "traditional" weekends!
I drink more tea on the weekend just because I have more time to enjoy it and don't have to worry so much about getting a good night of sleep.
This morning I'm being lazy, after spending four days of early mornings and rushing to get 4th graders ready to go while on a field trip away from home.
Fujian Baroque is in my cup this morning. Yum!

Definitely more tea on the weekend and it's better. It's not that the tea quality itself is necessarily better. It's more that I take the time to ensure I'm brewing optimally. Less rush.
Nearly 80 here today and beautiful. Time to get back outside (...carrying iced tea and waving goodbye....)

I said "equal quantity, but better"...I am more likely to get to linger over morning tea on the weekends and that is such a joy for me!
And this afternoon, my DH and I enjoyed giant glasses of iced tea outside in the breezy shade....ahhhhh sweet spring perfection!!! Some gray cold day next winter will be saved by the memory of this sweet afternoon.
I hope all my tea-chatter buddies are enjoying a wonderful day!
Enjoy,
Dreamer

Tried a new one with DW, a sample of a Yutaka Midori from a vendor considering it for their line up. It was good, but not YM classic from O-Cha good.

Usually the weekends are more tea and better tea. This morning we had to take our PITA cat to the vet. He got something stuck in his mouth. (We think.) He seemed more or less better by the time we got there, naturally, but we had a couple other questions anyways, because he's an old dude who needs his teeth cleaned.
So... finally getting to my first tea of the day - at nearly 2 in the afternoon. Yame Matcha - very good, brilliantly green, and the easiest froth I've seen in matcha. It has a flavor I'm not used to, a hint of bitter raw greens, like dandelion greens or arugula. Very interesting.
I'm not sure what I'm moving to next. I need to spend a little time and straighten up the mess in my home office and on the tea table. It has been a busy few days, with lots of disruptions.

More tea but it isn't really better. I don't save good teas for the weekend - I drink teas I like all the time.
Nepali oolong this morning. Not sure what I'm going to do next.

The Yame or the chawan, which is more spectacular? Wow to both!

Glad you are liking the Yame, it is a bit of a shocker isn't it?
Speaking of cranes ... this arrived today and I thought of you even before I bought it.

I do tend to have more tea over the weekend because I usually don't have work.
Today, however, I was at a Japanese festival at Stony Brook U out on the island today. There were martial arts and dance demonstrations and vendor tables with origami, pottery, sugar cranes and sumi paintings. I had a sumi painting done for me and the woman wrote my name in kanji. But the highlight was the tea ceremony demonstration they did. They talked more about the proper way to act and how to feel during the ceremony rather than the tea itself. In fact, I didn't hear the word 'matcha' once. It was just 'powdered tea'.
Oh and the building where it was being held (Asian culture building) has a gift shop with sample teas from Adagio! They even had a few yixing pots but they looked a little junky to me.
Watching all those people drink matcha made me crave it too. Firing up the zoji for matcha and then sencha. Might as well continue the Japanese theme!
