Began the TeaDay with shincha Magokoro from Yuuki-Cha.
Oops, I forgot about that one the other day, so I guess I can honestly say you brewed us at least 1 bad cuppa green that we shared.

No SweeTea aka/ Baby aka Mrs. Chip this morn, had to be at work early, maybe we will share a cup later today?
.
WELCOME, MRS. CHIP!

I had a couple of teas that I would consider bad, the first was a Nilgiri that was bitter no matter what I tried. The second was a blend which was just way too coffee-like for my taste.

This morning I enjoyed the last of my Three Brothers from TeaSource. Peppermint-y goodness!

Thanks for the hearty welcome geeber1!

I think due to the overwhelming majority of TeaChatters referring to me as Mrs. Chip, I might ask the 'power that be' to officially change my user name! I choose Baby because that term of endearment has always been very special to me, but maybe we could combine the 2! 8)

Waiting for Mr.C to call so we can share tea!
BTW Sal, lovely picture.

Worse so far this year was on the plane Friday (en route to Victoria's): I asked for hot tea, expecting a cup of hot water with a bag on the side so that I could use my own bag of Stash White Chai. But no, their dust&fannings-filled bag had already been steeping in the cup for who knows how long. :P Being desperate for tea by then b/c I'd been up since 3:30, I tried to get through it, but only managed about 1/2 a cup.

I thought this was bad, but it couldn't possibly compete beer tea and deer jerky tea  .

Worse was probably the Jasmine tea from the oolong box pass. I couldn't get past that I was drinking some that smelled and tasted like it would be better in a perfume bottle.

Currently in my cup is iced mugicha as I make as much iced tea as possible to get me through the heatwave that is going through central New York. It is only the end of April and the temperature going for 90 degrees today. The current iced tea collection consists of a bottle of cold brewed no-name sencha, a bottle of Den's Fuka-Midori, and a pitcher of a blend of coconut black tea, ceylon black tea, and berry blast herbal. Now to just wait until they are actually cold.

Oops, forgot to post this morning's tea at V's home: A very good Darjeeling called Glenburne Vintage Wiry. It seems to be available no longer, so when it's gone, it's gone. :( .
More teadventures to come as I wrap up the last day of my escape to California.

Hard to say as of late, but if I had to put my finger on a single tea it would probably be the 08 Sakura Houji from Lupicia that I had. It's a hoji mixed with SALTED sakura leaves. It smells absolutely divine, but the tea itself is weak on the houji and incredibly salty.

This morning : Yame the Ultimate sencha from Zencha.

That's a nice way to start the day.

The only `tea' experience I've had that I consider to be _bad_ was with some yerba matte that my son brewed for me. I didn't know my stomach could move in those directions.

Started the day with Divini-Tea Organic Wuyi oolong once again. It should be finished by the end of the week. I might have Takumi in mid-afternoon.

Darjeeling Puttabong (Tukvar) SFTGFOP DJ-7, thanks to Salsero once again.
Good tea, perhaps with a little too weak floral taste.

Well I ended up trying a tea that had alot of coconut and didnt like it because of that fact because at the beginning I assumed it would only have coconut flavoring. Hi everyone I am now drinking a cup of irish breakfast black tea.

A friend of mine made an 'authentic' Indian Chai like she makes back home. Good GAWD! It was nas-tay! Oregon Chai has ruined me!

Some usucha that was prepared for me at a tea event... the matcha was obviously on the old side, and probably not very good quality to start with.

So far, all the leaf tea I've experienced in 2009 has been on the spectrum between "reasonably OK" and "unbelievably delicious".

Hmmm... I don't know that anything I tried this year was actually bad so I can't really answer that question

Today I am drinking a lovely new discovery - an Organic Yunnan gold with a really rich and smokey flavor

Going to have fun trying all the brews on this one

I ordered a breakfast tea that was beyond 'expired'- it was akin to drinking cardboard, no detectable odor or taste! The vendor gladly replaced it without cost, with another tea that was quite acceptable.

Keemun and Scots breakfast tea today.
