Just email Scott of YS. He will be glad to help ya. I would recommend a smaller pot no bigger than 150ml for puerh. You will be wasting lots of tea with a big pot.

I'm using on average pots of around 200-300cc at home, and it's going well for me. But I should add that I also use big cups and tend to drink...

You are using pots this large and and brewing pu-erh gongfu style? Two grams per 30 ml?

I don't see such pots as being large.

They are 3-4 cup pots.

For solo drinking, it's nice to have more than one cup of each brew or 'pao' of tea.

As for 'grammage' I'm not really sure, as I don't own scales. I just go with 20% or so of the pot filled with leaves and go from there.

BTW, this 200ml Yixin pot is one of my favorite. It's a little modern looking with a great pour.... and it's cheap!
