Cinnamon Kitty wrote: I decided to start the long weekend off right with a great session of fukamushi sencha supreme in my new hagi. Sadly, my camera is broken and I can't find my father's camera, but it is the one that Victoria was offering in the teaswap forum. It is absolutely fantastic. Even after two days, I can see little tiny crackles starting to form.
Glad you are enjoying the Hagi CK!

Definitely more and more different gets my vote! As I posted last evening, just in time for the weekend I got some shincha, a new matcha, about 5-6 Spring '09 Oolongs and several FF Darjeelings. Wow!!!

In my cup this morning: Margaret's Hope FF.

Have a nice day everyone!

I voted 'maybe more'. The only new tea I have right now is a sample of Adagio's Thai Chai, so I will probably try that out sometime this weekend.

Irish Breakfast in my cup this morning.

Salsero, I especially like your photo today - they are always wonderful, but this one is just right for my mood today! Thank you for inspiring all of us every day!

I hope more and maybe more different. But time will tell.

Began the TD with Sae Midori from O-Cha. SweeTea enjoyed some, while Pyrit, TEAh, and Lil Bit took up TeaTable space.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Happy Weekend, All,

I picked "maybe more"...I wanted to pick "likely less and/or less", but my brain could not do that logic (maybe after another cup of strong black tea, I could get it!).

It is due to be a warm weekend here and my family does like iced tea, so I've already got some cooling in the frig! I suspect that I'll be refilling the pitcher many times over the weekend! I also know that I'll get in fewer sessions with Japanese greens or oolongs, because there will be too much other "busy-ness" going on.

So far this morning, I'm enjoying Assam in my cup (241 Assam Hazelbank from specialteas). I am not an Assam expert (had some bags prepared by my tea friend at work that we both enjoyed and a sample or two that didn't do anything for me), but this tea is very nice. Lovely rich color, great flavor to savor and the aroma is warm and wonderful. First pot for hot tea, 2nd and 3rd steeps for iced tea. Life is soooooo good!

I would like to take this moment to thank any and all chatters who are serving or have served in the US military. My thanks and gratitude to all who have had loved ones who served. It is only due to the dedication of such braves souls that I am able to enjoy such sweet freedom!!!!

Great photo (again!) Sal!

Have a great tea weekend, all!
Dreamer

In my cup this afternoon Sae Midori for two!

Image

Pretty proud of myself; I got this one right on the first try with a little help from
Cheryl and serok37 from the Green Tea Forum, combined with my own modification
between the two using my intuition! Ha!

I think Im the opposite from most people because I drink much less on weekends than weekdays. I usually drink tea for breakfast, lunch and dinner maybe even in between on weekdays but when the weekend comes Im going to see friends and family(who don't drink tea  ) so its just for breakfast most weekends.

blueberry again

Thanks for the kind comments, Mrs. Chip, geeber1, Dreamer, and cherylopal. I got the turtle a year or two ago because I really like the one Tenuki had.

I thought I was cool and unique, turns out I'm drinking the same sae midori as everyone else on Teachat.

I'll have to dig out something rare for the rest of night.

Shan Lin Shi @ 1650 meters - April 10th '09

Oh wait, I have that one too, hahaha!

Very nice! My favorite so far of the '09 green oolongs,
Delish!
