I often feel like I am in some kind of a TeaZone, a different realiTea from most people around me.
I always loved TZ, I remember watching it through the stair railings when I was little so nobody knew I was there, I was too young to watch the scary stuff according to my mom. Favorite episode would have to be "To Serve Man," a great episode.
Began the TD with Houryoku shincha from Den's in "new" Hagi cups with my wife. Very delicious. Only Wulong invaded the TeaTable today after sleeping in.
The rest of the TD will likely be a road show, but I am packed and ready to brew.

Oh yum! I'm here to say the Spring 2009 Subtropical Forest Baozhong from Tea Masters is very close to last year's. (Which caused a big commotion as some of you may remember) Here it is in my new Hagi cup. Still looking at cameras, so pardon my pic quality!

I definitely am in a TeaZone most of the time. People think that I am quirky with my tea obsession, but most tend to just smile and nod and humor me when I start getting excited about tea. There are a few that actually show interest at least. Then again, I am slowly introducing other family members to loose leaf tea. I got many complements on the pitcher of iced tea that I brought to our party yesterday. Second flush Darjeeling with a pinch of lemongrass, brewed strong, went over incredibly well. Sometimes it does feel like a different reality as a majority of people prefer coffee over tea, and we tend to be the odd ones out in our enjoyment of tea.
Currently in my cup is more fukamushi sencha supreme. I have been using a bit more leaf and can definitely feel a slight "teabuzz" from it.

Yes, I do find myself in a TeaZone sometimes.
People think it is odd that drink green tea and they think it is odd that I feel the need to order black tea (isn't the stuff in the grocery store tea?).
Each sip reveals so much that is like taking a small peep into another world...that's the TeaZone!
In my cup today: Started the morning with a Den's sencha teabag out to breakfast with DH. It was really pretty good...I didn't realize the water was wayyyyy hot till I scorched my tongue, but it still made two good steeps. It probably would have given another, but it was time to go.
This afternoon, iced Assam...yummy, cool and refreshing.
Hope you all get some time in the 'Zone this weekend,
Dreamer

I've been drinking everyday milan dancong today...I actually drink the single bush more often.
It was too harsh for me when I first tried it but it seems better after sitting for a year. Still it seems a bit flat, lacking the intense clarity of flavour and aroma that the single bush has.

It's last year's Shuppin Sencha from Maiko. I still haven't opened my shincha yet.

i practically LIVE in the TeaZone. Everytime i have a cup of tea lifted to my lips i am fully immersed in the world of splendid flavor. not even a rabid human being knawing at my ankle could shake me from the comfort of the Zone.

I have been running full checks with Spybot and Norton for the last 6 hours.
When I clicked on the Tapioca Balls link [from Tea Chef]
They both thought that I had been invaded by an 'Heuristic Virus' of high severity!
Best wishes from Cheshire

Really? I am running spybot, teatimer, and avg. I haven't had anything pop up, I hope I'm not infected or lead anyone else to be. How could the website do that?
Update: Ran spybot and came up clean
ran the site through Norton safe web and it found nothing:

That is weird, Spybot was running quietly in the background unawares to me and posted an alert immediately after I clicked on the link telling me that it was preventing something from opening. A pop up box had already popped up advertising something in Chinese. I attempted to retreat using the back button, which being activateable suggested it had indeed launched a second page. The back button failed to work, at which time Norton told me it had detected a problem and removed it. Closing the I.E. session also closed my I.e. window that was running TeaChat.
The norton log showed that it had been a file called qqwcewu.exe in local settings / application data.
Norton removed that file, but left behind are 3 dat files with qqwcewu in the name, but browsing the web - I have been unable to find out what they may be!
P.s. beneath the pop up box the tapioca looked good.

Nice Hagi, loquat glaze? I have looked at that one pretty many times. I have hesitated because it is 200 ml.
Spent the day away at a picnic sipping cold brewed sencha and then a hot brewed. I have come to the conclusion I brew much better tea with all the tools of the trade, and prefer best taste, aroma to an ultimate zen tea experience, well when it comes to sencha at least.
Sae Midori with the Mrs. to finish the TD, brewed with all the tools of the trade, a different kind of TeaZone than what I thought I was refering to when I posted earlier today. But it IS a TeaZone nevertheless ...
