I wish today was just like every other day
'Cause today has been the best day
Everything I ever dreamed!
Right now, I've been brewing a mug of Cacao Mint tea every day before work. Nummy, and gets me through the first couple of hours easily.
Brownie points to whoever get those lyrics. ^_~
I like variety, so I generally drink different teas everyday.
Right now I'm cycling between Jing's everday TGY and DHP for my morning teas, but I have several good yan cha and dancong waiting in the wings.
For afternoon tea I'm cycling between YM shincha and Sugimoto sencha (delicious!).
When my total of open Japanese greens drops below 50 grams I plan to open my first bag of Tsuru-Jiru-Shi -- I've been having gyo cravings for the last week:-)

If I approach this generally, I would say yes, but the answer states exact tea, so I say sometimes. My go to teas are Japanese sencha-s, I usually have only 3, 4, or 5 open at any one time, so there has to be repeat teas from day to day. And on a very rare occasion I will have a bag open that I can have almost everyday, almost ...
Began the TD with one such tea I think. Takumi shincha from Zencha. This is such a unique sencha coming from Yame prefecture, that I believe I could have this just about everyday if I have a bag of it open. SweeTea would likely agree. Pyrit, TEAh and the Lil Bit sat idly by ...

I buy whatever cheap Assam sounds appealing and drink that every morning, with few exceptions. Quality tea is lost on me first thing--I just need the caffeine! I think I've had the same morning tea since the beginning of April, actually.
I'm feeling a bit unwell today, and hoping some Kukicha will help.

This particular Camellia Sinensis is in Canada, I shop online. I believe it was Heavydoom that first introduced me to it. I have been quite impressed. It does not appear to be affiliated with a London store. http://camellia-sinensis.com/tea/J. wrote:Victoria, do you speak about Camelia Sinensis in London?
I saw the shop a bit less that one year ago when I was visiting London after my 1day holiday trip in Kew Gardens. Is that a great shop according to you?
And if I visit go to London again (to Kew Gardens of course), do you recommend me to go to Camelia Sinensis?
But I would say yes, you should check out the London store. Any shop calling themselves Camellia Sinensis my have a clue about what they are selling. Hopefully! Do report back!

I really like the Takumi as well. Once I played around with it a bit I am getting about 4 or 5 good steeps out of it too. I *could* have it about every day if I had a lot..i find myself trying to horde it just a little to make it lastChip wrote:And on a very rare occasion I will have a bag open that I can have almost everyday, almost ...

Funny that Camellia Sinensis should come up. I just attended one of their tea tastings over the weekend, and it was pretty good: there was an unexpected white from Malawi (stronger than any white I've tasted) and a yummy darjeeling, among other things. From what I saw, they have two stores in Montreal and one in Quebec City and that's it. If anybody's ever in Montreal, the store and tearoom are definitely worth visiting--the atmosphere is very relaxing, and they have a good array of quality teas and some mouth-watering teaware too. This particular Camellia Sinensis is in Canada, I shop online. As for my tea habits, I tend to have a mix of teas going. This is possible because I'm still discovering teas and buying samplers.

HA, been there and done that, but with sencha and especially shincha, just go for it!!! But this is not cheap sencha, so I try to have it last a bit longer.iannon wrote:I really like the Takumi as well. I find you have to use enough leaf with this one, a gram leaf per ounce water ratio at least. Remins me of Yutaka Midori from O-Cha and Gyokuro combined.
About to brew up Kirameki shincha from O-Cha, a great asamushi!
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
