I have no idea because my tea drinking pattern is very random. The price range largely depends on whether shipping cost is included, because even when we buy locally, the price contains a big part of shipping cost. And when buying overseas, the shipping is separate from the price, but shipping is still a large part.
If not including shipping, I guess $5-10 is my average range, and precious tea at $25 range will make my hands and heart shake

You make your one day worth two days.

I don't know I have not really figured it out. I am all over the scale.
Some of my favorite stuff has been over 40. I'll have to give it some more thought, my brain is overloaded this morning. Busy morning already.
FF Soom Dajeeling in my cup this morning.
Have a nice day everyone!

I wish I could take credit for it. I am just using the pic.Salsero wrote:Lovely Hoji picture. It looks so different from other tea leaves. Thanks.spot52 wrote:Hoji today
But it does look a little different, especially with all of the stems and such.
"You want the taste of dried leaves in boiled water?"
"Er, yes. With milk."
"Squirted out of a cow?"
"Well, in a manner of speaking I suppose ..."

Usually on average 20-25 for most teas it seems including sencha. Gyokuro can throw things off big time though.
I naturally fall into this range as I like the teas a lot and get a lot of steeps from the quality leaf. Cheap leaf does not perform as well, while more costly tea does not provide me with as much value.
Began the TD with a great Kunpu session from Den's. Really nice asamushi and lovely to behold needles. SweeTea slurped it up, Pyrit, Wulong, Ceylon, TEAh andthe Lil Bit came for a closer look.
