Began the TD with Takumi from Zencha brewed strong. SweeTea's fur stood on end, while Pyrit and Gandalf just watched.
I would have to vote, "eating in". Although, I too really do enjoy eating out too.
Chip does most of the cooking in our house...well 99.9% of it and I really prefer his cooking to even our fave restaurant's. My favorite meal is Jumbo Lump Crab Imperial, made to absolute perfection by "Our Mod" and my hubby.
And yes, I am terribly spoiled

Looking forward to our next tea which will be in a little while...wonder what it will be?
Hope everyone has a TEAriffic TeaDay!

Voted for "dining out" because when I do eat out, I go for international foods that I love, but which would be difficult to prepare myself.
Maybe some day I will learn to make pho, but until then...
Enjoying some Long Jing!

Authentic international cuisines make for a great dining out. We have a Vietnamese restaurant opening soon here; our Japanese restaurant is one of my favs.chamekke wrote:Voted for "dining out" because when I do eat out, I go for international foods that I love, but which would be difficult to prepare myself.
Would dearly love to go out for real-deal Greek, Afghani, or Asian/Dim sum...
I'm a capable cook; I don't dine out often here because the standard fare is so dismal in quality and the cuisine choices limited.
Keemun Imperial in my cup.
It is indeed from Teaspring. It was only my third session. Not stellar but clearly a quite a good tea, especially for an organic one.Salsero wrote:Maybe you have already mentioned this elsewhere, but is this the TeaSpring product and is it as good as your frequent imbibing of it suggests?olivierco wrote: Cha Wang Lu An Gua Pian this sunny afternoon.
I prefer dining out. Even though I'm quite a home body, and we don't do it often. Both DH and I, are just average cooks. We switch off and it works quite well. Of course we both have our specialty dishes, but there's nothing like dining out for 3 courses of excellent food. Especially since we both love the availability of varied international cuisines.
Another busy day - started the morning with FF Darjeeling Lingia. I need more tea ASAP.
I really hope my teaware packages will be waiting on my doorstep!

I LOVE to cook. Its hard to eat Halal in restaurants around here unfortunately, except at a few places. My style is definitely Indian/Paki/Middle Eastern/Moroccan. I have friends that cook some awesome food as well, so we just share meals all the time like our own little family, and they deal with all my dietary rules. So nice having international friends. Love kimchee cheyea (cant spell it haha), lamb tajines, gobi manchuria, anything with subzis, and making indian inspired pineapple chicken burritos that my friends constantly request (paratha in place of the tortilla mmmmm with many spices). I have almost burn out with southern food, rarely do I eat it anymore. Except when my grandmother mentions green bean casserole! QUITE hungry NOW too lol, might order some aloo paratha and masala dosa's since I don't feel like cooking such a late lunch
Nothing beats home cooked meals though
No tea yet, but that will change very soon. My brother wants to get into tea, so I am letting him taste some more today. He didn't like my nepalese illam fikkal...
oh well haha, maybe he will enjoy the sae midori since he seems to like greens already!
