Dragon dragons dragons, foo dogs, and various other mostly Chinese creatures. Please do not ask me to count. Some are Yixing teapots, most are sculptures. My fave ones are painted much like Chinese dragons seen in parades, very colorful. My most favorite is a carved wood one from Bali.

There are gnomes residing here as well.

Are Lucky Cats mythological?

Began the TD with the opening of Yutaka Midori from O-Cha. I went a little light on leaf as I usually do when opening a new bag. YM is like an old friend for me. SweeTea was indulging in the grand opening, while Pyrit, Wulong and TEAh checked out the happenings ...

Oops, I just realized I posted my teas of the day on yesterday's thread!

We don't really have any Asian mythological creatures in our house. I would love to have some foo dogs, though.

My daughter has numerous stuffed animals including a couple of Pokemon - I guess those are Asian!

 Did everyone go on a TeaJourney today and forget to tell me?

Matcha earlier today in a Yamane Seigan Celestial Chawan with my wife. So much prep for such a small serving, is it really worth it? 8)

Finished the day with Kunpu shincha from Den's in my fave Hagi set ... to be posted soon.

A great TeaDay ...

Didn't get a chance to post at all yesterday...   ...someone was hogging the computer! Although, we got a lot of work done yesterday assembling the new display pieces, then had fun putting all the teaware - organized by category of course - on them.

I can't believe Chip forgot about our Ent as one of our numerous mythological creatures.

Found one measly Chinese blue-white cup with a dragon on it. Otherwise nothing.

Unless perhaps Rei Ayanami figurines count

Today's tea count so far: 2 bowls of matcha and a bucket of Fortnum & Mason's Royal Blend.
Small cup of houjicha along with my lunch. Didn't quite mesh taste-wise with my spaghetti/veggie bolognese.

Now for the second cup!
