Sorry, no Etsy as of yet. I'm in the process of making s'more chawan right now. Shape is a bit different and the clay is more sandy. Pieces will be soda fired. Need to build up more stock for this year, however I am currently sitting on a few teapots, vases, and yunomi.Nenugal wrote:Wow, what a beauty! Thanks again to IPT and AdamMY for posting pics! Love to see how they are evolving over time and use. Really appreciate Chip and the TeaChatters allowing the opportunity to participate in the TA SO program!

You are welcome Chris! My pleasure.
Cool. I have been waiting to see some progression on the Pink Shinos! Looking at the fine crackles, I figured it was likely. Nothing showing here yet though.

Yeah Chris, the crackles in this are awesome. They're very slow in darkening, but they are turning out to be spectacular! I can't wait to see what new treasures will show up.

Here is my incredible new Chicagopotter Chawan. Thank you so much Chris! It is really fantastic. The shino glaze has some really beautiful tight crackling which will stain wonderfully! I cannot wait to watch this chawan season. The box and cloth are stamped with Chris' seal.

Long time, no post...
Just wanted to let you all know that I am in a teapot show that opens a week from today. http://www.cinemagallery.cc/Teapots.htm
Think I priced mine at $70, but cannot remember. If you are interested in it, you can always contact the gallery. Think it is smallish -- maybe 8oz.
I have two more like it at home, one 6oz and one 4oz (approx).
I'm also sitting on a boatload of yunomi, chawan, mugs (coffee), and tumblers (beer). Hope to take some pics and open an Etsy shop for the holidays. But, if you are looking for something in particular, let me know.

Hi Chris ... good to see you!
And good to see that you did a form meets function piece for the show.
Some of those are pretty off the wall.

Good to see you back Chris. I was just thinking of you. I was using one of your teacups for some new Gaoshan Wulong.

Unglazed soda fired chawan. Clay body is a light stoneware with lots of sand. Fired with salt soaked straw on the inside.
