I'm having some DHP from Life in a Teacup and it's pretty nice, I have to say. The first few sessions weren't that great, but now it has been open for a few weeks and remarkably improved.

TGY from a store in Montreal called Tea Sante. New to tea drinking but it is delicious. Looking forward to trying other vendors to compare :)

A session of Mandarin Tearoom Highfire TGY. Thought I already went a bit heavy on the caffeine today, so I did not crush any, and brewed it like most oolongs. Presented a lighter and much more varied flavor across 8 infusions, although I prefer it being made with crushing some and trying to get 4 consistent infusions.

Premium Ti Luo Han from Best Tea House. Giving it a try more western style today. 7g in 180ml pot. Not as complex as gongfu sessions with this, but super smooth. Nice aftertaste. I could drink this all day like this.

How was that Gaoshan, Adam? I need to re-order some Taiwan oolong. I am going to get yancha-ed out.
I am having the '11 high fire SX from MTR for the second day in a row.
Went stronger today. 10g in 135ml. Super roasty. Great long lasting aftertaste. Big portions, big kick.
Strong buzz without being too jangly.

Not the best one I have had from him, but I had 2 really good infusions, the rest were somewhat lack luster.

This is my favorite Dong Ding. I use a small Chao Zhou Zhuni pot to brew this in. Superb! In fact, I brew many Taiwanese oolongs in this pot. Gaiwan doesn't bring out all the flavors and nuances of these teas like good, zhuni clay.
