Re: Shawn McGuire (GREENWOODSTUDIO)
Well, hello all. I just finished the last Spring woodfiring this afternoon. We fired pretty hot, cone 13 throughout. I thought you all might enjoy this picture I took of the kiln last night when we were at around cone 9/10. Such a dramatic process
Food, friends and FIRE and of course tea! I served lots of guests and helpers teas they've never tryed before and it was a big hit! I'll be around with new work soon and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you.

Something good in my mailbox today! Unfortunately my mobile camera is not really able to capture the beauty of these two pieces.

Working again to try to capture the glaze on my little teabowls....still not good enough, but perhaps a little better in some ways

Thanks for posting debunix. Great photos. Do you feel my pain trying to photograph those suckers
Thanks Cory, I loves me some shino. Now if I could just do it consistently I'd be happy
Slowly getting around to photographing and listing....

Was wondering if you'd ever had the chance to fire those beautiful little houhin designs you'd posted a while back, and if so, how did they turn out?

Re: Shawn McGuire (GREENWOODSTUDIO)
Thanks David
Hope, I only actually fired a few. I needed to fill my space in a local co-op I belong to, so I put them in there thinking no one around here would even know what they were. However I was wrong, and they sold! Better make more I guess
I'm trying to be disciplined and get some more work up online, more to come over the next couple of days.
