Glossy black is good, but can show dust particles on closeups.
And mirrors - well look nice, but distract when selling I think.
It is like a lucite panel? It looks like glass. Look great.

In short, this is going to be so much stylish and convenient in office

Edit: After giving it a try, the glass is firm, thick, heavy and nice to hold. You can feel a little heat from holding the glass, but not burning hot.

It can retain heat quite well. I compared it with my Purple Clay cup (200ml) vs this Bodum glass, seem like Bodum can retain heat longer. Reason is most likely because it is much thicker than my Purple Clay cup.

Initially I wanted to buy a Gaiwan, but seems like this can be an alternative. Love the the inbuilt stainless steel infuzer, so much convenient.

Highly recommended for 1 person usage

I bought a light tent 3 weeks ago - and with it ordered some accessories - including acrylic riser display tables - marketed as being good for shallow angle reflections etc

You can always go to Home Depot or something similar, and look at pieces of tile. You might find something with a nice matte white finish, or other useful colors.

They make nice infusing small pots too, if you want more
than one cup.

Although relatively inexpensive, I liked my first Gyokko kyusu enough that I purchased a second one. The first was a 120ml "pine bark" kyusu with an obi-ami metal screen filter. I use that for Japanese oolong.

I decided to get another similar one for Japanese black tea. The second is only 100ml (description says 120ml) and has a clay sasame filter but the holes are small enough that not too much leaf escapes into the cup. So far both have worked very well for my intended use of them. I think these small Gyokko kyusu are very cool and quite functional, all at a reasonable price.

I have a lot of teaware and these Gyokko's are among the lowest-priced pieces I have, but I'm still quite impressed by them. No fancy signed wooden boxes, etc. but they do their job very well. They have about 10 Gyokko kyusu on the Cool japan website, with at least half of them being quite small.

Another gorgeous Chawan by Petr. I'm so disappointed in my photos. They don't come close to showing how cool this glaze really is. The corners of the glaze looks like it's peeling up a tiny bit adding a really cool texture to it. This is just awesome!

Yes, both exist and are available to Western consumers. Yuuki-cha has loose-leaf Japanese oolong and Japanese black tea. These are grown and processed in Japan, unlike some I've seen where the tea is grown in China or Taiwan and then purchased and processed by a Japanese company.

Much of what the Japanese do so well originated in China but they have added some unique Japanese character to it. These teas are not unlike those from China or Taiwan in taste, but there is still something unique about them. There are also the high quality and safety standards typical of Japanese products to consider. These same standards are not always found in similar products from mainland China.

I like both the Japanese oolong and black tea that I've purchased from Yuuki-cha. I have already purchased more black tea from them, and will add some more oolong when I place my next order. The black tea is more expensive, but it ranks right up at the top with the best Taiwanese black teas I've ever tried. Both seem very suitable to brewing in the small Gyokko kyusu. A 4 ounce pine bark one with the metal screen filter is available at Yuuki-cha for $40. I would not brew these two teas in the same unglazed kyusu that I brew sencha in. They both also work well with a porcelain gaiwan, although the leaf is very small.

Last week Magokorodo added six Seigan and Deishi matcha chawans to its shops on Trocadero and Ebay. I ordered two by Seigan. I never cared much for his work until about a year ago. I thought it was too sloppy before, but now Mr. Seigan offers "neater" looking products as well. He also seems to have become very diversified in the various styles he works with. When I mentioned this to Hidehisa of Magokorodo, he agreed that Mr. Seigan has learned very much and is incorporating that knowlege into his current products with much success.
