Just an update. Got a note from forkyfork that the box has been stalled in Florida due to bad weather and he hopes to pass along the box soon.

Hey everyone,

I finally got around to sending the box!

Sorry for the delay. The box just came at the worst possible time with all the hurricanes and what not. Our house in DeBary had some flooding and we didn't have flood insurance.

There was some water on the box, so the address envelopes are somewhat illegible. However, the contents inside should be fine. The tea was unharmed.

Glad to finally send it off.

Hope you enjoy it!!

"Holy Crap, that's a lot of tea" - The exact words out of my mouth this afternoon when I opened the box.

There is a lot of tea to taste here, but I intend to make sure the box moves swiftly along (as it's been stalled in its last stop due to storms for several weeks).

Unfortunately the box itself is toast. Fedex ripped a big hole in the side and so I'll be packing the tea in another box for its next step (with a piece of the original box for continuity).

Lots of flavored black teas now, and the pu-erh has dwindeled, but soooo many teas to taste.

Right now I'm enjoying some of the last bits of the russian carrivan tea from Upton Teas. Yum.

Speaking of caravan, is this moving via camel?

Good to see it is still out there and delivering happiness where ever it is received.

In the interest in keeping this box moving, I sent it along today. Would have liked a long time with it, but it's been stalled for too long, so I binged on tea this weekend and now it's off...

I got it today and I am a little overwhelmed . I had a half day today so I have had roughly 20 cups of tea in 6 hours. I liked the Adagio gyokuro a lot and their TKY. I'll send it out next wednesday :)

 Wow, I think if I did that I would either be comatose or know the meaning of life and see music (though that would be totally awesome)

The box is really stinky and I think Rooibos is the culprit. To prevent smell leak I will place all the rooibos in the two containers in there.

:D I guess I'll need to send more off next time. Glad you liked it.
Wow, we are almost done. Can't wait for the next, if there will be another one.

Definitely interested in getting in early on the next pass. I wouldn't drink 50 teas (!) so early in the list would be good for me~. When, when, when?

This was a good idea. I got to try a lot of different teas. I just realized that I did not put brewing instructions on the Dragonwell I put in the box. 3 min, 1.2 tsp per 8 oz, and 180 water.

The box made its way safely here to Minnesota! I just poked through the first layer a little bit for now, I won't have time for serious sampling until later tonight/tomorrow.

Hey all,

Is the list still open at this time? I don't care where on the list I am but this would be a great chance to try a couple things out. I only have a couple teas and blends (mostly black flavors) that I could contribute.

Since the thread is so long if I missed any detail past the first post, anyone can PM me to talk about it. Thanks!
