Chip is the Hagi Octu-Papa.

:D :D :D
***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

Chip, those are really awesome! That grass-style writing drives me nuts, though... all I can (barely) recognize is "cha"

horsencl, I love the color scheme on that kyusu!

New teaware, all from chaikhana tea culture.
Image
left: qing dynasty cup
lower right: unknown date, unearthed in a Chinese farm
upper right: Korean cup from the 1880's
Image
all plates I use as "tea boats"
bottom: japanese, turn of 20th century
middle: Chinese, [ EDIT]mid 19th century
top: unknown origin/date

In my opinion, the history/details of some of these pieces are too interesting to pass up, so I'm planning on doing some Mattcha style reviews on my blog.

So the teaware fever got you (and it seems not to be over as you are following other auctions). Nice set.

They don't have a website, but I overheard the owner talking about creating one. They're a small one man operation, and the owner personally travels to china to buy pu erh in yunnan, talk w/ the local farmers etc... He has a huge collection of antique teaware... chests and chests filled to the brim w/ yuan dynasty cups, hare's fur bowls, song dynasty bowls, qing blue/white etc
